Izen connects with Uruzalls' leg just as he runs away from him. The strike throws Uruzall off balance, making him unable to continue to run. From the camp, Tol lines up aim and hurls a dagger towards Uruzall. Uruzall lets out a wail "ZIIIIDAAAR" as the dagger sinks into his shoulder. Uruzall turns, hunched over, drawing his crossbow taking a shot at Tol. Thanks to the dagger sunk in his shoulder, it throws off his aim and the arrow whizzes by Tols head. Angry, he throws the crossbow and draws his scimitar and awaits for melee while growling at Izen.
OOC:
Haha, there's that one.

"All your talk of honor, of being feared! Peh." Tol watches the half-orc ready himself for battle, then the dwarf sighs deeply. "You will be remembered... Uruzall the frightened. Uruzall the confused. Uruzall the petty." The dwarf shakes his head, "I do not enjoy dealing out death. It seems to great a burden for someone to decide who receives it. But unless you drop your weapons and kneel, we will be forced to bear that burden." Tol walks forward, eyes locked on Uruzall's, but staying out of the half-orc's swing. "I've seen the fear in your eyes. Make the right choice and kneel. We won't ask again."

Uruzalls' eyes dart around the surrounding forest, his hands twitch for a second. A tear streams down his face and he drops his weapon, falling to his knees, head lowered.
OOC:
Izen is up.
Jul 9, 2016 3:48 pm
Izen looks to Tol, then to the ork, then back to Tol. His hammer is starting to feel right in his hands again. It's been so long since those days, but justcie must be served. In tha name of clan Stonehardt, I, Izen, find ya guilty of murder ova young lad, guilty of robbery and assault ova woman and others. The combined punishment for yer crimes... With the pause, Izen brings the hammer swinging towards Uruzall's head.

Rolls

Adv for the fact that he's surrendered? - (1D20+5)

The hammer comes down cracking Uruzall in the head causing it to thump off the ground. Everyone hears a voice come from the forest. Uruzall lifts his weary head up, which you can see now has a large gash in the front, blood streaming down his face. "Tsk Tsk Tsk, I didn't know I raised my little brother to be such a coward!" out steps another half-orc, at least a foot and a half taller and 150 pounds heavier than Uruzall. Walking over to Uruzall "I have half the mind to let them finish you off or kill you myself but luckily for you, little brother, you're family." he hoists Uruzall up with little effort, rips open his shirt and holds Uruzalls sword against the scar and slips something into his hands. He turns towards Izen, you can see his armor has a cut out hole on the chest, proudly showing off a scar similar to Uruzalls'. "Now lets teach some manners to the man that strikes someone unarmed and surrendering..." he looks over his shoulder towards Uruzall "...like a coward." he draws his scimitar and makes two strikes against Izen. Izens armor just deflects the blows with ease. He calls out towards Tol "Don't think I forgot about you, the man who made my little brother take knee!" he tosses a dagger up, catching it by the tip then launching it towards Tol. The dagger flies past sinking into the ground. Uruzall uncorks a potion, chugging it down and you see the large gash closes up and stops bleeding. Uruzall readies his weapon.
OOC:

1. Uruzall
2. Tol (current)
3. Izen
4. Zidar

I guess I'l be bringin' death to two ov yahs! Izen brings up his shield and prepares for battle. I'l be gettin' justice for tha boy... one way or anotha!

The attack of Izen on the kneeling Uruzall was unexpected, however the arrival of this new half-orc even more so. Though, when his own dagger flies past his face, Tol quickly realizes that the two dwarfs were in this fight whether he liked it or not.

"No more words then...except this, BE RIGHT BACK IZEN!"

The rogue quickly turns on his heels and sprints back to his tent, grabs his short bow, and notches an arrow. Taking aim, Tol hopes that the older brother of Uruzall will flee if shown enough force... though somewhere in the back of the rogues mind, he doesn't think it will be that easy.

Rolls

Attack on big brother / damage - (1d20+4, 2d6+2)

1d20+4 : (4) + 4 = 8

2d6+2 : (35) + 2 = 10

Jul 10, 2016 6:19 am
Zidar side-steps the arrow and give a loud chuckle when it sinks into the nearby ground. He extends his arms then pounds on his chest where his scar is and lets out a roar. "You're going to need to do better than that, dwarf."
OOC:
I'm guessing you miss-typed but if not, the shortbow is 1d6. Tol also would be getting sneak attack as both Uruzall and Zidar are within 5 feet of Izen.
Jul 10, 2016 6:08 pm
Izen, assessing the new threat, decides to try to eliminate the younger brother first, hoping to make the fight 2v1.
OOC:
Sorry, somehow messed up the roll. Hopefully this fixes it?

Rolls

D20+5 - (1D8+3)

(5) + 3 = 8

Attack - (1D20+5)

(15) + 5 = 20

Jul 10, 2016 8:31 pm
Izen swings his hammer towards Uruzalls head. When it connects, a deafening crack is heard as it snaps his neck. Uruzalls' body goes limp instantly and slumps to the ground. Zidar stares at the now limp body of his brother, he kneels down and yanks Tols' dagger out of Uruzalls shoulder, a spurt of blood shoots out, Izen hears a soft whisper "useless." he then stands up and looks Izen straight in the eyes. "My brother was weak, yes, a coward that preyed on frail old women and children but he was family.
He should of been killed by my hands, not yours! You took that from me, i'm going to enjoy bathing in dwarf blood tonight."
He strikes twice with his scimitar. The first strike Izen easily deflects with his shield. The second has a bit more power Izen wasn't expecting and slices through his cheek. Then, out of nowhere, Izen feels a dagger sink into his rib cage.
OOC:
Izen takes 12 points of damage.
Jul 11, 2016 4:02 am
Tol winces as he hears the hammer connect with Uruzall's skull and shudders as the body falls limp to the grass. Then turning his attention to the taller half-orc says, "That was just a warning shot." Tol readies another arrow, moving deeper into the tree line. Once he is covered, he lets another arrow fly.
OOC:
Right. The 2d6 was counting the Sneak Attack. Also, I'm hoping for at least some cover and bonus to my AC by moving into the trees.

Rolls

Another Shot - (1d20+4, 2d6+2)

1d20+4 : (10) + 4 = 14

2d6+2 : (24) + 2 = 8

Jul 11, 2016 4:18 am
Zidar removes the dagger from Izens side and laughs "Warning shot? I can do this all day!" as Tol fires off another arrow, Zidar once again side-steps. Only this time Tol is able to predict Zidars movement and catch him in the arm. He grabs the arrow and snaps it. "Lucky shot, dwarf."
OOC:
Ah didn't even think about that, thanks for clearing it up. Tol gets half cover from the forest giving +2 to his AC. Just a reminder, you took off you armor and haven't had a chance to put it on. I believe your AC is 12 plus the 2 from half cover.
Initiative:
1. Tol
2. Izen (current)
3. Zidar

Izen spits out a mouthful of blood in the ork's face. Yer far beyond warnin' shots lad. He lashes out once more with his hammer, looking to gain momentum.
OOC:
I have officially concluded that Izen was simply rusty since he hasn't ben to war in over 50 years. The first two nat 1s were him stretching his arm out cuz now he's wrecking house.

Jul 11, 2016 4:55 am
Izen swings his hammer hitting the arm Tol put an arrow in, embedding the broken arrow further into the thick half-orc bicep. Zidars face clenches and tries not to show pain. Zidar wipes the blood spit off his face and licks it off his hand "Your blood taste good dwarf, let me go taste the other ones' now." Zidar grabs Izen and pushes him to the ground and walks over to Tol.
OOC:

(18) + 5 = 23

Jul 11, 2016 5:49 am
Zidar wasn't anticipating Izen to be so sturdy and stout, so much so that Zidar stumbles a bit, giving Izen the chance for another swing.
OOC:
With that modifier, you had to roll a 1 or a 2 to fail, you were pretty much fine. Yes, you do.
