This isn't at all how tonight was supposed to end! Why are we killing these half-orcs? Are there more hiding out here in the woods? Could we be starting a war? What is going on? Tol's mind stirs into a frenzy of questions and possibilities, but when Izen shrugs off the large half-orc towards the rogue hiding in the woods, he quickly curses himself for not paying attention.

"I am sorry about all of this. This isn't how I pictured this situation ending."

Tol lets loose another arrow hoping to strike for a painless kill.

"Don't be so afraid dwarf. It was just me and my useless, coward of a brother. As for war, you need not worry, your grave is in these woods. Just close your eyes I promise i'll make it quick." Tol releases his arrow hitting Zidar right below the eye. Zidar lets out a horrifying cry of pain as the arrow sinks into Zidars' face down to its' fletching. Zidar spits a large pile of blood, "You're gonna pay for that." Zidar rushes towards Tol and slashes at him, striking him across the chest.
OOC:
Tol takes 6 points slashing damage.

I said leave 'im alone ya brute. Izen charges the ork to hit him from behind.

Adv for flank? I think I get +1 for charge.

Zidar hears Izen from behind but before he has a chance to react Izen sends his hammer with immense speed impacting with Zidars' head, concaving it. Izen withdraws his hammer, a heavy layer of blood coats it. Zidars' body falls limply to its knees then again face down, blood spills out from the place that used to be a whole head.
Jul 12, 2016 7:52 pm
Izen spits out another mouthful of blood and looks towards Tol. Ya alright lad?
Jul 12, 2016 10:46 pm
Tol stares at the lifeless body of his would-be killer. A slight croak breaks his throat before his shoulders drop and he turns towards the camp, "It wasn't supposed to be like this Izen. The rogue spins again and kneels beside the gigantic half-orc laying lifeless in a growing pool of thick red blood, "I guess that's it then. We should alert the authorities of their deaths..." Looking up at the older dwarf, "And the boy? Did he... Was he?"

Then wincing, Tol grabs his chest, blood comes back on his palm. "Damn. I'm hurt bad my friend, but if the brother of Uruzall wasn't lying, these were the only two out here tonight." Looking down the road towards the tavern. "I need a healer... and a drink."

He murdered a lil' boy, brotha. Yer right, it wasn't supposed to be like this, but justice had to be done. I'm sorry yer hurt. I'm beat up too. Let's get some rest.

"Should we bury them?" The young dwarf's eyes go from Zidar to Uruzall, "They were terrible, but still... they deserve respect. If we had died instead of them, I'd hope they would have done the same."

Aye, we'll lay'em to rest right proper. Best not damn ther souls. That's for tha gods to decide. With that, Izen drags the dead orks to the roadside and begins digging two deep holes. Tol, get tha boy's body an' wrap 'im up. We'll see if he's got any kin in town when we go in tomorrow.

Between the two of you, the work goes rather quickly but still late into the night. You get both half-orcs buried and the boy wrapped. All throughout your digging, the woods are silent other than the owls, bats and other harmless creatures of the night. You both agree that these woods are probably rather safe, it was just the half-orcs using the safety of the woods to surprise unaware travelers. You both patch each other up, as best as possible and enjoy the quite night sky, the company of a friend, and surviving a rather brutal encounter as you close your eyes, chatting with each other until you both find yourselves asleep.
OOC:
Assuming you both take a full nights rest, you both get all your hit points back.
Jul 13, 2016 8:34 am
Tol drifts off to sleep looking forward to the dawning of a new day while trying hard to forget this very long night.
OOC:
Yes. Long rest please.

OOC:
nicely done companions
Jul 19, 2016 10:55 pm
Béke, while walking down the road, you spot a small campsite in an open area of the woods. It consists of two tents and a smoldering campfire. It strikes you as odd, as it's not that far from the nearby tavern and it is pushing close to noon.
OOC:
What would you like to do?
Jul 19, 2016 11:04 pm
Trying her best to stick to cover Béke will flank the site and hunker down in a position to observe the area. A little late in the day to have not struck camp she thinks, her long fingers fiddling with the pendant she wears about her neck.

Rolls

Stealth - (1d20+3)

(14) + 3 = 17

Perception - (1d20+5)

(16) + 5 = 21

Jul 19, 2016 11:39 pm
You stick to cover to a spot opposite of the camp and you feel pretty good about the cover you're in. You can see into the tents, in them you see two dwarfs, completely passed out sleeping. You also see two spots of earth, about 15 to 20 feet away from the camp, that look dug up then placed back striking a resemblance of graves. Another sight that catches your eye is a pile of cloth,
tucked against the side of one of the tents, it almost looks like the vague shape of a small body.
OOC:
They have no clue you're there, even more so because they're asleep.
Jul 19, 2016 11:53 pm
At the sight of the graves Béke sighs under her breath "Never a good sign. I wonder what happened here?" She searches the ground until she finds a small rock and tosses it towards the side of the tent with the clothes piled against it in hopes of waking the occupant.
Jul 20, 2016 12:05 am
Béke searches for no longer than minute before finding a rock. She tosses it and it makes a dull 'poomf' sound when it hits the fabric.
OOC:
Kenny make a perception roll DC 10 to see if you wake up.
Jul 20, 2016 12:06 am
Izen awakens with a start, snatching his hammer from beside his bedroll. Who's ther?
