Not happy with the ineffectiveness of hear spells Béke once again draws her bow and sends towards the scattering flames.

The arrow goes wide, crashing into the ceiling and shattering. The two starlit stalactites slowly crawl across the ceiling before going into a dive towards Béke and Ramiel at a blinding speed. As they get near, Ramiel releases a sheet of fire, engulfing them in flame briefly. They both slam into their targets and attempt to wrap their tentacles around your faces.
OOC:
Ramiel roll your burning hands.
Acrobatics or Athletics check from Béke and Ramiel.

Ramiel unleashes a torrent of flames towards the dark shapes before one of the collides with him. Unable to duck in time, Ramiel's vision goes dark as he is engulfed by tentacles.

Unable to move out of they way in time, Béke and Ramiel are both slammed into by the darkmantles, the tentacles immediately latch onto their heads, an all too familiar feeling overcomes Ramiel as the darkmantle engulfs his head. Béke and Ramiels vision goes dark and they find themselves unable to breathe. You both feel the tentacles start to tighten, beginning to squeeze around your head becoming even more uncomfortable.

Izen swings his hammer, a little worried he might hurt one of his own he only grazes the darkmantle, doing only a little damage.
Both, however, look in really bad condition.

You still did full damage, just worded it like that because you rolled its AC and rolled a 2 for damage. Figured it fit story wise.

In a worried panic, you grab the creature and pull with all your strength. After a couple seconds, you begin to fill the tentacles loosen and with one final thrust you throw it to the ground. Air fills your lungs as you take a deep breath, the cold cavern air feels refreshing to your flustered head.
OOC:
While it doesn't matter much, as you made it regardless of modifiers, but to remove it is a strength check.

Why is it that they always go for my pretty face? Ramiel thought as he desperately dug around the darkmantle's tentacles. At least these were not digging into his scalp like the spider-rat was. . .

Having dealt with a similar situation before, you have no problem loosening its grip and throwing it to the floor. They hit the floor with a slimy dull thud and begun to excrete a black cloud, within second darkness has engulfed you again thankfully you can breathe this time around. A couple seconds pass, your vision returns, you now see the darkness hovering above you and drifting upwards, then coming to a stop. The darkmantles no longer where you threw them.

Izen and Silene, you're up. Add disadvantage if you choose to attack.

Silene throws a tiny ball of fire into the middle of the darkness at the ceiling, where she thinks one of the darkmantles may be.

Silenes fireball disappears into the remaining darkness, falling down to the floor a second later. Izen swings at air.
