Silene tries another tiny fireball into the darkness, reasoning that just because nothing attacked Béke doesn't mean a darkmantle won't decide that someone else will be a tastier target.

You toss a fireball up, watch it disappear. A few seconds pass, then you see some of the darkness fade and a darkmantle falling to the ground, landing with a splat.

Silene brings more of the lantern's light upon the fallen darkmantle, mainly to test the limits of the object. She checks if the star-pattern appears.

You conjure another fireball, tossing it into the darkness, and you watch it disappear. Again, you watch as the darkness fades and the darkmantle plummets onto the floor with another splat.

The druid hefts the lantern and proceeds forward to join Béke, shedding light further into the tunnel.
