Khadi guess a crossbow but it sticks harmlessly in the creatures skin.

Tabat is only barely starting to relax when Iseret calls out the creature may yet still live. Trusting his comrade fully, he doesn't hesitate to bring his weapon around and slam it down upon the corpse.

'What the...' Khadi rapidly slips a bolt into her crossbow as she raises it again, waiting for the creature to stand up again as she desperately wracks her brain for what this could be.

Jaware hears Iseret's warning and while he doesn't see what the rogue sees, he trusts her and continues to fire into the prone target. but can't get a good angle.

The creature begins to stand up, but meets Iseret's blade through the eye. It falls to the ground, actually dead.
