My PC always try to stealrhy but I just don't see it feasible to move unseen over the dunes. But we are certainly quite just as we just roleplayed and approaching from either south ir north to minimuze chances to be spotted.

The three of you make your way to the west wall, approaching the crumbling hole that gapes in the side. Slowly entering, you step into a long hallway. The opening lands you at the south end of the hallway. The dim torchlight allows you to make out a rotted wood door nearby which would lead further south. Alternatively, a door at the north end also stands. The faint sound of chanting comes from beyond the northern door, dampened by the door and distance it quietly echoes through the hall.

Flame is ready for combat. He has a rapier in one hand and shield in the other. He motions to the others that he is going to open the northern door.

Keks sends telepatic message to Dagen and Flame Virgel said tome is hidden. He didn't say it will be occupied. Not sure those guys will let us search, I'm not a negotiator type of person, maybe you are? If we pay them...
Anyhow let's go this way ... if we don't find tome, we may hide there and wait for creatures to go sleep. What do you think?

OOC:
You notice Keks don't even mention option to attack. He isn't a murderer and do not want to kill unless for self-defence. His morale would rather make him abandon the quest that to go killing innocent dragonborns.Aug 29, 2022 6:33 pm
We search till we find it. Something gets in the way. Well it is in the way. Flame is practical about it.
Aug 29, 2022 7:31 pm
As Flame opens the northern door, the light of flames illuminates the corridor you all currently stand in. The chanting ceases as the door creaks open, allowing both your party and a group of four black-robed dragonborn to see each other. Between you and the dragonborn lays a large bonfire. An older-looking dragonborn, standing slightly further back than the others, stretches out a clawed finger and levels it in your direction.
"Kill the interlopers!" The words are croaked out like dust. The other three robed dragonborn draw their scimitars and ready themselves for combat.
Roll for initiative.

You all stand, ready for action, at the doorway. The bonfire in the center of the room sits approximately 40 feet away from the door. The three younger dragonborn warriors are 5 feet behind the bonfire (45 feet away), with the older dragonborn being another 5 feet behind them (50 feet away).
OOC:
Keks is up first in initiative order. Feel free to @/ping whoever's next in initiative order on Discord (for sure ping me when the enemies are up) to ensure that we handle combat efficiently.Aug 30, 2022 5:32 am
Want some killing? Keks cry in a high voice giving away his fear. Keks shaking in terror, but this is not the first time dragonborn try to kill him. He swing his suddenly shimmering arms in the air as if throwing something and two blades of psychic energy try to hit the older-looking dragonborn.Keks is stepping as he does so (let's say 15 feet back)
[ +- ] Psychic Blades
You can manifest your psionic power as shimmering blades of psychic energy. Whenever you take the Attack action, you can manifest a psychic blade from your free hand and make the attack with that blade. This magic blade is a simple melee weapon with the finesse and thrown properties. It has a normal range of 60 feet and no long range, and on a hit, it deals psychic damage equal to 1d6 plus the ability modifier you used for the attack roll. The blade vanishes immediately after it hits or misses its target, and it leaves no mark on its target if it deals damage.
After you attack with the blade, you can make a melee or ranged weapon attack with a second psychic blade as a bonus action on the same turn, provided your other hand is free to create it. The damage die of this bonus attack is 1d4, instead of 1d6.

(9) + 6 = 15

Dagen sees and hears the dragonborn on the other side of the door. He thinks quickly, moves closer to the door (to roughly 20 feet from the door), casts Mage Hand invisibly, and then closes the door.
Action: Cast Mage Hand
Bonus Action: Close the door with the Mage HandHe says telepathically to each of his friends, "They're going to have to come through that door to get us. Let's use it to our advantage."
OOC:

[ +- ] Mage Hand Legerdemain
When you cast mage hand, you can make the spectral hand invisible, stow or retrieve objects, or use thieves’ tools to pick locks and disarm traps at range. You can disguise this with a Sleight of Hand check, and you can use the bonus action granted by your Cunning Action to control the hand.
[ +- ] Cantrip: Mage Hand (Conjuration)
Casting Time: 1 action
Range/Area: 30ft.
Components: V, S
Duration: 1 minute
Source: PHB, pg. 256
A spectral, floating hand appears at a point you choose within range. The hand lasts for the duration or until you dismiss it as an action. The hand vanishes if it is ever more than 30 feet away from you or if you cast this spell again.
You can use your action to control the hand. You can use the hand to manipulate an object, open an unlocked door or container, stow or retrieve an item from an open container, or pour the contents out of a vial. You can move the hand up to 30 feet each time you use it.
The hand can't attack, activate magic items, or carry more than 10 pounds.

You hear movement from behind the door. The croaking voice of the older dragonborn intones some ancient words of power before the sound of a blade being drawn from its sheath emanates from within the room. As the noise fades, you hear the sound of boots hitting the floor as someone runs to the door.

Am I right to interpret this text as being that the lackey #3 runs to the door, but does not hit the door?I sort of imagined that he was rushing towards the door, and it closed as he tried to run the the doorway, but not sure if that occurred or if that was just how I cinematically hoped it would go.

Flame just stands a bit from the door with his rapier waiting for it to open and him to charge and attack whomever that is of them.
