A Blast From the Past

Hello everyone. This feels like a blast from the past—I haven’t been on a message board since the early ‘00s, which was also the last time I dabbled in play-by-post! Since then, I’ve mainly been playing in person, favoring horror games, primarily Call of Cthulhu (and Delta Green), Vampire: The Masquerade, Deadlands, and All Flesh Must Be Eaten. However, at my current age, while it seems I have more time than ever on my hands, it also seems harder than ever to get a game together in-person. And, as I’ve always had a fondness for writing—but never got my knack together enough to write a novel—play-by-post seems a good use of my newfound free time. I’m excited to start playing and running games and meeting others who love RPGs!

I'll likely add to the CoC pile, as its the game I know the best—I've run most of the major CoC campaigns over the years (Masks, Beyond the Mountains of Madness, Horror on the Orient Express, etc.).

AFMBE is really fun! Its a wild, dramatic game that I've always found very easy to run and play. I did get a little zombied-out around the time The Walking Dead debuted and haven't played AFMBE since then.
