Squadfather has confirmed that IRL stuff has kicked up and asked to be replaced. I think I'll just leave it alone, I'm already curious to see where we're going.

Do we only get one try at the door? Just curious. If not, I guess the game is over, unless we go around and try to get in elsewhere.

You're both welcome to try and I feel no reason to hide that it's not actually the only way in. Just the only immediately apparent.

Sidenote, I'm very image/color based, so the colors and the fact that your pictures both have very distinct color palettes is really helpful for not having to over process.

Hmmm? Well. They both went to the same college. They play in the same band. So, they probably have been to some of the same clubs and small music venues.

Agreed. Places at school and club hangouts would be the most obvious.

Life is always a challenge

I'm probably going to be scarce through the holidays. One of my partners is moving to town on top of it so there's a lot going on

Sorry for the extended intermission. Other than Christmas itself I think I'm back in the swing of the world. Partner is safely squared away.

Where do we go from here?

I, for one, don't care for the house mechanics we are using and the die we're supposed to roll every time we do something. I thought at some point we were going to cross over into another world and use the mechanics from that system while there, but that doesn't seem be the case.

As far as crossing over somewhere else, I'm definitely still interested in doing that, just taking my time. That said, if the mechanics here aren't speaking, then they aren't speaking. It is definitely intended to ultimately be glue.

I'm torn, because the *setting* of the house is something that intrigues me, but it definitely seems to intend for a very specific style of play that I just haven't found with parties yet.

I love the artwork and the maps, but the tone so far of the house speaks more Goosebumps and than a serious horror story to me.

Alright, I'm going to close up shop. I'll meditate a little on what I've learned here.
