Thanks for the invite! I'm looking forward to playing. Like I mentioned in the PM, I've played Vampire the Masquerade back in it's early days. So it'll be great to see how the game has evolved.

Welcome aboard all! We have 3, which I'm good with but I'll keep the game open to see if anyone else seems greatly interested.

Let me know if you have any general questions. Like I said in the recruitment thread I strongly prefer narrative play to mechanical play, for any system really, so I'll be trying to lean into that.

But with that being said, don't ever feel like you need to make "long" posts to be active. In fact, sometimes just a small, I'm still in this scene, post is beyond perfect. Something like,

"Dunko nods at Squad and runs his hand through his hair--bored. He scans the barroom to see if any of their friends have arrived."

Can be especially good for games with high post counts.

Hey there! I'm so sorry I haven't shown up yet - I accepted the game invitation and then never saw any email notifications about it. They must have been getting eaten by my spam filter. I only just noticed the game was active when I logged out and back in. Is it to late for me to race through character creation and join in?

Are you all on the Gamersplane Discord!? I see Squad asked me a game question several days ago and I just happened to be pretty in active this past weekend, and likely will be through the fall weekends and holiday weekends (lots going on!). We can always throw quick questions and the like in the discord!

"Would the promoter knowing...cause a beach in the Masquerade?" Good question. Yes and no. No for you, if your character can make his justifications or is loose with the rules. Yes to characters who are conservative or want to contradict you. It's a matter of perspective I say! But NPC characters could absolutely use it as something against Erik if they knew about it.

Elysium is a neutral ground for kindred, and thus a place where kindred politics often play out.

How long do you want to say that Erik and Giulia have known each other?

Erik has been in the city since his return from Europe during WW2.

Good question. I am trying to work this out. Do Giulia was turned in the 1980s according to her story. Maybe she moves and Erik is something of a dark father figure? What do you think?

That could work, Erik wouldn't openly admit it, but he does have a tendency to help....sometimes..lol
