Hello Alph5! All necessary mechanic information you can get from here http://www.middlefingerofvecna.com. Also we use only this human variant for races. Lore wise in unknown. We may or may not be in DS world. So you just need to read mechanics.

Party wise we have Cleric and Warrior (and probably another paladin). If you join us as paladin we can go on holy crusade. I wanted to go paladin too, but my friend (Cleric) wasn't convinced to be 3 rd paladin.
4 paladins of apocalypse...

Also what deities exist in this world?

Sweet definetly doing a palidian most likely of vengance or possibly of the sunlight i just wasnt sure what this world was like so im trying to find my "bearings"shall i say in creating my character.

Before you use material from "Middle Finger of Vecna", wait for GM approval. I think this oath is perfectly suited for our game, but GM may have his own vision on this matter.

Wizard(INT), Fighter (DEX), Cleric(WIS), Paladin(STR) - I like our party composition.

Ah yes, we will be using the Darks Souls Rule Varient. Part of this assumes that all the PCs are undead, branded by the darksign you can never truly die every time you fall the reforming at the last bonfire you rested at. You are also able to use estus flasks, wondrous gifts that allow you to heal. Read over the rule variation so you know whats going on.

The other rule variation we are using is a limitation to your race, you must use one of the varient human races.

Other then that, a approve the pally. If you need any help on any of the concepts that come up as we play, feel free to ask me or the others in the chatter, as I think most of us are at the very least passingly aware of Darksouls lore.

Like the character build and I certainly approve of using that build from MFoV.

As for what deities are in the world. There are some that I have names, but they will emerge through game-play, I encourage you to invent your own religion.

In terms of backstories, part of being undead is the loss of your memories, then the slow loss of identity and purpose as you go hollow. You can have a vague idea of what you were in life, but details such as names of places and loved ones fade quickly.

So i was thinking about how undead forget i think a cool idea would be that when awoken after receiving the curse to find the symbol of the brotherhood of the sun on my sheild and tabarb thus creating a personal mission to find who i was
