Numa is fast but the silver snake weaves around his code like liquid! Only the netrunner's final zap manages to wing the asp which then opens it's mouth and fires a beam of energy in return...

Numa is up

Numa injects the sword code into the server once more and this time it cuts through the ICE like a hot knife! The Asp de-rezzes and Numa moves into the final node of the server where the file architecture waits, fresh for the plunder.
Nov 6, 2022 3:19 am
Numa copies the file. Once it's done he jacks out.

Numa is back in the matrix. He loads up Pathfinder and Cloak to find the layout of this system and to hide his presence.
OOC:
My See-ya Program gives me a +2 on the Pathfinding Check. I'm updating the character sheet slowly to improve the netrunning section to make it easier for me lol.

Numa interfaces the mainframe and finds a five floor architecture that begins with a good old-fashioned password access on the first floor.

Guess I'm not surprised, Numa thinks to himself. He loads up his Worm program and attempts to find a backdoor.

With the code injected the simulated barrier falls away and access is granted to the second level which appears to be a control node wired to security features of the biotech lab including cameras, door locks, and something labeled "laser stabilization array."
Jan 24, 2023 5:29 am
Numa first unlocks any doors between them and the roof. Then he will just see what the laser stabilization ray is and where it's located in meatspace if possible. Finally he'll scrub through security cameras last, also on their floor and the ones leading to the roof.
OOC:
Rolling Eye-dee on the laser array just in case you need it.

Rolls

Eye-dee - (1d10+4)

The laser array is located in the lab you are currently in. It is being used to contain something called "Project Gibson"
Jan 25, 2023 7:30 am
Numa fires off a quick message to the others. I've got something here about a 'laser stabilization ray' for something called 'Project Gibson.' Should I turn this off?"
Numa will make a mental note to come back to this after he checks the doors and cameras.

Just to be clear I said the array is in the lab you are currently in.

I also just realized I posted a question in the thread only I use haha. I've edited the post and I'll post a copy in the other thread.

OOC:
Awesome, you used an action to unlock doors and one to delete today's camera buffer, you have one more this round
Jan 27, 2023 4:22 am
Numa deactivates the laser stabilization array.
Jan 30, 2023 7:26 am
Numa moves to the next level to see if he can find a node for the drone or for what they came here for.
