You wake up the next day, the calm after the storm. You all weather the storm well, and none of you are fatigued from yesterday's travels. You see the river ends in a lake to the south east. Where to next?

Is there a way to cross the river? NE looks promising.

Koram nods, we'll have to cross somewhere, and I don't know how to build a boat. He begins scanning for an area along the river that might be forded on foot.

Iroven agreed with Tomas and Koram, "It looks like we have to cross the river. It would have been really good if we could somehow sail the lake and cross it to the other side. We could have increased the distance with Burning mammoth more. But, I don't know if the clan has any boats."

"If we cannot find a way to ford the river, we may need to return to the Following to see what resources are available that could help," Koram nods in agreement.

I wrote as you first found the river that you are easily able to ford it. The herd can't cross large bodies of water, but can cross the river in any flatland hex.

Lets cross then, go NE.

The weather stays fine during daylight hours, but as you camp for the night the wind picks up. Nothing compared with the storm you weathered recently. By the time you tear down camp and is ready to move on, it has calmed down again. Just a little chill in the air. Where will you go next?

Looks like there are more green pastures on NE. I vote to go NE.

I'll take the firs suggestion as the choice, to keep the pace up. You have another uneventful day traveling. From time to time you can spot another river to the south-east of you. Where to next?

The river SE seems the obvious choice for a wandering tribe, thus we should go N to throw the Burning Mammoth's off?

Koram agrees and continues to plant false tracks behind them.

Iroven agreed to Tomas and follows the direction to go North.

OOC: Also thinking about doing Reconnoiter activity.

You climb the hills and get a spectacular view of the mountains to the north. Some strong winds, make the journey more annoying, but not dangerous for you. You hunt some mountain goats, one of the only life signs you find here. Where to next?

Koram suggests they head north-east, following the mountains.

Agreed, NE

I too agree. NE it is.

You are able to traverse the hills in peace. The only signs of life is the local wildlife. Where to next?
Jul 29, 2024 9:21 am
I don't think we can move through the mountains, but we can go SE perhaps?

You see a pass between two mountains to the North East. Could this be the pass that leads you out of the valley?
