Let's go North east? The normal hex just on that side? Using one activity to move.

Sounds like a plan

Good by me.

The weather stays excellent as you move into another plain. You can see hills to the north with flatland in most other directions. Where to go next?

Hills for a viewing vantage?

Indeed! North again it is!

The weather keeps and as you arrive on top of the hills, you can see mountains to the north and a river running from them to the north and to the north east. Where next?

We'll need to find a way across this river - NE!

You are easily able to find a place to ford the river. You see the river continuing to the south east. The weather is still good, though you can see dark clouds in the distance promising a storm in the coming days.

Looks like the terrain over NE seems like difficult terrain (yellow). Adding to that, we have a storm coming. Should we take shelter somewhere in the mountains or do we follow the river and go south?
Jul 20, 2024 3:14 pm
"We should follow the river," Artesia offers.
Jul 20, 2024 10:28 pm
Agree, lets follow the river to the SE. We should keep our eye out for shelter for the coming storm.

Koram agrees with following the river to the SE.

Early in the afternoon the storm hits for full and it is difficult to make progress or even move forward. Though the river offers little protection from the wind, it is an easy feature to follow. With wind speeds almost reaching 100 kmph (60 mph). By the time you make camp you are all wet and miserable. Everyone give me a DC 16 Fortitude save and let me know where you want to go next.

Iroven tried his best to weather the storm and make a camp. He silently prayed to Iomedae hoping the storm will end as swiftly as it came.

OOC: Spending hero point to reroll! Wow barely made it.

Artesia bundles up against the biting wind. "We should keep following the river!" She shouts to be heard over the wind.

Koram attempts to keep himself guarded against the wind and is largely successful - as is Haitith, who takes shelter within the crevices of some rocks during the worst of it.

He nods in agreement to keep following the river, doing his best to cover their tracks as they continue.

Thinking about doing Reconnoiter activity. Iroven can scout ahead to find out what kind of terrain is waiting for us along the river or what can we find out in this hex.

@mindgoneferal Just waiting for a Fort save from you.
