Moving further into the caves, looking for more footprints. The further in you go, the damper the atmosphere. There are stalactites, stalagmites, and other cave formations formed by water. Besides the glowing lichen, other forms of fungi are growing on the walls, ceilings, and floors, generations of which have made the floor soft with a coating of loam. The floor is slippery in places and you notice water pools in certain spots. You also notice there have been rock falls and collapses, blocking off passages at certain points.
There is more evidence of worked stone along the sides of the tunnel, some decorated with more of the serpent and geometric carvings as well as occasional unfathomable text.

The tunnel opens into a wider long and twisting chamber decorated extensively with elaborate carvings. While the snake motifs and other designs are present there is also a series of murals. First, there are carvings of landscapes, studded with towers and other structures. Robed serpentine figures are depicted engaged in various pursuits. some images show them worshipping an enormous serpent with a crescent symbol on its forehead. Others depict the serpent people and their cities being attacked by giant reptiles.
