Just a heads up on how I run interactions

I will offen summarize content. You can do the same by explaining your characters intent and do multiple questions all at once so I can reply with a single post to move the story along.

If you want to roll play it more just post direct character statements By putting it in bold and the NPC will reply in kind

Ok, maybe I missed it in the reference section, but I gather from this that not all undead are looking to feast on the living?

There is a fortress full of undead on the island. The wizard and priest both checked out out and are confident they are mostly stuck in the fortress. They can and do patrol the island occasionally but have not left it. They are tied by a magic oath to the fort.

Any undead wandering around is considered something to be destroyed.
Undead were created as a tool during the Dawn War but since then many have been created without control

As a note, this game system has a mechanic called focus. The rules use it in combat but I say any time your are not rushed or are prepared to act while or if combat you can use it. I will assume it is always used out of combat unless you are under pressure or there are time constraints and your could not prepare in advance. This increases your chances of success so a 4 or higher is a success.

All attacks, unless indicated otherwise deal 1 damage. There is an option for critical hits when 6's are rolled that I have not implemented. If you want to use it we can. But if players get it so do the monsters.

FYI. I use gems as the largest denomination of currency. Small and light they are favored by the wealthy. Everyone can approximate gem values with a test.

I am running multiple stories in this game. As its original intent was to help newcomers I kep it all open and public. I can move the active stories to seporate sections and exclude anyone who does not want notifications when the other games are updated

Yeah, me too. I occasionally will check on the other storylines to see how others are handling their adventures.

As an example of reading the other adventures, I recognized what the "chicken" from the Library was purely from your description. 😬

OK, so Blomvid and Moli just started a classic dungeon crawl in the sewers/basement area under the base.
Khaguran, Skeeve, and Rikia can join them or take on another job or just go exploring.
Elph, Shmautz, and Baruman just left to explore a Remnant. If they get stuck and want reinforcements they can come back to town for help.

Let me know if you have a preference and I can move the stories that direction. I would like for all the characters to at least eventually meet up

The more the merrier. :)

Just a heads up for this who have not been here for too long. I move stories between threads based on location and activity. I post links in thread to the new locations where you can continue your story. The Base is for down time and introducing the expedition. Let me know if there are questions or problems
