OOC:
Sorry gang, I was on-call for my job this weekend, and then have had a busy beginning to the week.
Pedrop says:
OOC:
.... some description where we are, how big the tunnels are would be useful. Can be very general map, or more descriptions. Before entering pit were there any significant places visible in the pit? Like some... I don't know... sculpture that goes above tunnels level?
OOC:
I'll re-post the first two descriptions I provided, I know these things can be easy to lose sight of over the stretched out time period of PbP.
First description from Nov. 2:
The archaeological pit is rectangular, more than a hundred meters long and probably a little less than fifty wide. And it is characterized by a network of narrow but deep trenches with clearings scattered throughout the trench network that are each packed with towering pillars and statues and the stone-bones of small buildings that look like they could have been hovels or even possibly mausoleums.
OOC:
Second description from Nov. 13:
It's a massive archaeological dig site/pit - ~100 meters x 50 meters. All below-grade.
And it's characterized by a network of trenches punctuated periodically by larger, more-open clearings, where the clearings have small ruined buildings and statues and pillars and things cluttering them.
OOC:
Regarding your questions:
1.
how big the tunnels are - not big enough for two ppl to stand abreast of each other
2.
significant places - the clearings, which are scattered amongst the trenches, packed with statues and pillars and small ruined stone buildings are the most significant places
3.
sculpture that goes above tunnels level - no, everything is "below-grade", lower than the prevailing ground level in the surrounding area, where all the Masters and other Acolytes are standing and watching from above.
Seems like at this point a map might help, so I'll put something together tonight.
RE: Davit and Hirani sneaking ahead, give me a Stealth check! I'll roll Hirani's FPC, as you guys could get a Destiny out of it!
Flipping a Destiny. Hirani gives you two Boosts to your Stealth check. Difficulty is PPP.
Hirani simply nods at Davit's orders and follows after. Soon, Davit sees the walls of the trenches darken around him as he senses Hirani drawing upon the power of the Force.
Lyriik immediately senses the life forces of his comrades, but no one else for the time being...
OOC:
Rean, you will not have to roll any subsequent Force Power checks, to keep your Sense Power "up". But that Fierce die is now "committed" and cannot be used in any other way, until you drop the Power.
Also, please note while the Power allows you to sense the presence of other life, if it's on the other side of a wall for example, you will be required to make Skill checks to either pinpoint it's location and/or differentiate, say, your allies from enemies.
