Idle Chatter [OOC]

Ok, made a post, I know we just started but I wanted to highlight that this is an off ramp for anyone who wants to drop from the game. (I’m hoping to keep highlight that as we go so it gives people a chance to drop if they aren’t feeling it anymore ) :)

Awesome touch with Cadigan Baron! That’s how we’ll eventually become heroes of acclaim;). So much fun everyone. Nice work so far.

Moved us forward to mid day. Dennan had a great hunt, there’s birds in the forest; as well as orcs. The prisoners are in a much better place with Laylas attending to them.

Depending on what happens I might move forward again in time till the next decision point :). Are we resting for the night here or moving on after lunch?

Depends on what everyone wants to do. Veronica would probably want to rest and move on the next morning since they didn't get to when they got captured by the Orcs. Since there are only the three of them, they could take turns keeping watch too.

And that's cool. Seriously thought Cadigan was a bard storyteller.

Yeah. Depends on what everyone wants to do. We should at least update each other in game: the state of the prisoners, the orc footprints, the crows and stuff. Dennan would probably want to get moving if the prisoners were good. But he would also feel comfortable with taking turns on watch and staying the night.

Speaking of editing. I accidentally said Veronica and Layla saved Dennan from a Thousand Axe orc. But I think I got confused. It was a Stone Tusk orc. I went back and edited that. Dennan may know these orc pretty well, but I can't keep 'em strait. LOL!

That's fine. I got confused with these pig faced orcs too. I almost want to call them Ganon men cuz they look like that pig villain from Legend of Zelda link to the past. Lol.

Yeah, we even make a good team in our in game down time. Fun roleplaying.

Ok it sounds like we are coming to a plan. I will need what route you are taking, and what everyone is doing on the hike.

Some things could be:
Leading the way (someone has to do this for navigation)
Keeping watch
Scouting (like keeping watch but further away and may also help avoid hazards)
Covering tracks
Foraging
Other things I’m not thinking of.

I’ll try to get the traveling started tomorrow if we have a minimum of what we need. Feel free to keep the scene going, I may or may not join in but with you leaving soon the traveling will probably be the next significant post.

I imagine Dennan could lead the way, especially if they stay in the forest hills all the way to Verge, since he would know how with all his rangering stuff. Also, Dennan and Silas could take turns scouting ahead.
