This is for out of character discussions and questions.
Some rules for the entire forum:
1. PLEASE use the OOC tag when posting out-of-character (OOC) in a game-play session
2. Do not control another player's character without their explicit permission
3. You may dictate how the scenery around you reacts, and you can even control nameless NPCs, granted that they aren't doing anything exceptional (like giving you things for free) and you don't need their reaction (trying to scare someone, seduce someone, etc)
4. I'd prefer posting at least once a day to once every other day. At most, please post within 1 week, max, and don't make a habit of it. If you are going to be absent, please inform me. If you don't post within a week, we will move on without you. I will control your character, but I will make sure their actions are neither stupid, out-of-character, or self-destructive. I will have them retire from the scene as soon as possible to a 'safe' location.
5. Let us have a game that avoids gore and sexual violence. If sex happens, I strongly prefer it to occur off screen. Basically, lets keep this game TV-PG (DLSV).
6. Never use in any context, even censored, any religious, racial, or homophobic slurs, even if it would make sense for the era; you can describe someone as having said something offensive, but do not actually have them say it. Everything else here is up for discussion, this rule is not.
6a. The exception is supernatural slurs, as long as they are fictitious and not based off real world slurs. Examples include Parasite (Vampires), Mongrel (Werewolves), and Glitter-tosser (Mages).
7. When not in what I'd call an action scene, try to be descriptive, and include your character's thoughts when possible. I'm looking for 1 paragraph minimum, although I understand that sometimes its not possible, especially when we're doing action-by-action, round-by-round combat.
