A17 would need a dash action, would have no real cover since you would be under the tree, not in it, but line of sight for 4, 6 and the Leader only.
C9 would offer full cover
A12 would give half cover since you’re a gnome and line of sight for only 4 and 6. (Half cover gives +2 to AC)

Let me know what you decide and if you want to take an action (hide is possible action here).

Gzizmix fires jolting sting at the elf, hitting him squarely in the chest. The impact causes the elf to lose his footing. The elf tumbles out of the tree on to the ground below with a thump!. The gnome’s spectral weapon slices across the prone elf’s back, cutting through his armour.

The black robed elf grunts in frustration at his archer’s fall. He nocks three arrows at once, firing at the guards.
OOC:
Since flanker 1 is prone, you can roll with advantage with your spiritual weapon.

Malbor is up with the flankers on deck.

Malbor, suddenly awakened from his apparent walking slumber draws forth a pulsing purple crystal and thrusts his hand skyward. The crystal dances with crackling energy which shoots towards the crossroads. It appears he has fired at nothing, but then a small cloud of fog seems to come forth from nowhere and begins to grow.. and grow.. ever more rapidly, until a moment later it fills the entire crossroads, blocking the far archers from sight.
Then the power of the crystal seems to overflow uncontrollably and begins to run up Malbor's arm. In an apparent attempt to release the energy before it consumes him, Malbor levels the crystal an points it toward another of the assailants and releases a blast of arcane force.

I am targeting #2, since it looks like I have a clear line to him and don't want to fire thru my allies.

Malbor’s magical fog forces two of the elfs to move out from their cover to get a view of the group. The one elf scrambles to his feet, collecting his bow. The five yell and shout to each other their various targets and unleash a small volley of arrows.

In all the confusion, not a single arrow finds its mark. Vice watches the arrow aimed for him ricochet off his hiding spot. Malbor watches as the arrow thuds into the ground at his feet.

The lead elf in the tree screams out, "Imbeciles!"

Kleber's gaze locks on the ambusher perched on a tree, instinctively he reaches into his quiver for a Walloping arrow.
"Get down here" he chants while releasing the arrow.

With practiced movements, Kleber swiftly loads another magical arrow, bow now aimed at the other elf nearby.

Then he moves closer to the conjured cloud, positioning it between himself, the assassin, and the ambushers near the stream.

Kleber’s arrow lives up to its name and soundly thumps into the elf’s armour. As with his cohort across the stream, he tumbles out of the tree to the ground below.

The leader shouts at the two remaining elfs below him to move up. Vice sees the one elf move up to a brush on the side of the road. However, with Malbor’s fog in the way, you’re unsure what the remaining elf is doing. Though no arrows come from their direction.

Guards three and four rush upon the prone elf on the ground and attack with their swords. The elf rolls frantically to avoid the attack and takes a short cut to his arm.

Guard one reloads and again fires his crossbow at the near elf, hitting him in the left arm.

Guard two reloads and switches to fire on the far elf, but misses.

Vice decides to attack before another arrow can come his way, and enters the fray. He rushes past his team to assist the guards.

sorry for the delay, was spending the day with the family. Vice will move to E11 and attack elf 5. If he cant get that far. I can change my attack to a ranged one.

In all the chaos, Vice and 37 miss their targets. Gzizmix’s spiritual weapon slams down on the elf and he crumples to the ground.

Unable to see through the fog and trees, the lead elf fires another small volley of arrows at the last spot he saw the guards. Listening closely, he knows he hasn’t found his mark and drops out of his tree to the ground.
