Finding the Way

Yogitus leaves the cave disturbed, not only by the glyph now forced upon his skin, but the prospect of retrieving the "Dragon Pulse." Is this fate or a distraction?

Yogitus reaches into one of his belt satchels and holds the charm he was given briefly. Was that a dream? Yogitus sighs. He'll need to be sure the question will generate direction before using the charm.

As he leaves the tunnel and walks down the hill, Herald can be seen standing in wait. Yogitus approaches them.

"What should I make of this?" and shares the new glyph, blackened to his arm. "And what is the Dragon Pulse?"

Yogitus rubs the mark. He isn't thrilled about being marked without consent, but he knows it'll be useful in some situations. The danger will lie in anyone at the expedition taking notice and getting the wrong impression.

"To find the Dragon Pulse, huh. I'm not sure I understand the reasoning behind its sudden need. To help with the tensions between your kind and theirs?" Yogitus points off seemingly in the direction of the expedition. "Do you have any idea how to begin, or where I should begin? Perhaps you have some direction on the next step. Is there any lore about where this object may hide here?"

Master give me patience. It would seem I have a road with many paths before me.

And as quickly as the meeting started, Yogitus found himself standing in the swamp with another task before him. The Dragon Pulse, ancient teachings on Ki. The expedition. He wasn't sure of the connections of any of them, but he knew the only path was forward.

Only forward steps turn new leaves.

And with the mantra in mind, Yogitus began walking in the direction of the expedition.
