LOL my thoughts too. I usually feel a compulsion to balance the party, plus I was also considering a rogue or barbarian. Maybe I'll roll up a couple more char's and pick the one that rounds out the party best.
If we are going to have 2 frontlines and a fighty Cleric then I'll stick with my Cleric for my main for now and I'll make him more Spellcasty. Also my char is from a nation of seafaring folk, so they also worship Reyna!
Don"t dwell on "party setup" too much. You choose what you want to play not what "needs to be in party".
Eldritch Knights are considered inferior to other archetypes, but I wanted to play him, so enter Renard Black.
We'll make it work, guys :)
Also keep in mind that youre characters have never met each other, nor are they being coordinated into an even group. They are what you wamt them to be, and your group will thrive much better if you play comfortably and not stereotypically.
