planning my next action...

Looks like I could reach either assassin in a single move by going diagonally. Am I reading that right?
Sep 26, 2023 3:59 am
Yes you could you have 25ft or can move 5 squares per action.

Note: in pathfinder every 2nd diagonal counts as 10ft, but you can still make it.

how long, in rounds, would it take to tie up our captives properly, if not comfortably?
Oct 3, 2023 1:29 am
1 round to get it out of your pack
4 rounds to tie them up or 1 round per cutthroat
Oct 3, 2023 1:32 am
On that note. Everyone should let me know that they are doing for the next 2+1d4 rounds

So leveling up, that will happen soon

One variant rule we will take is:

Automatic Bonus Progression
https://2e.aonprd.com/Rules.aspx?ID=1357

Pathfinder 2e expects you to have certain runes (potency, striking, & resilient) and items. It's a bit annoying to have allows buy (or give) these runes. The variant solves this by giving these bonuses for Free!

Pros
⁍ free attack/skill/armor bonus as you level
⁍ more variation in weapons and armor
⁍ more fun runes
⁍ the GM can give you items and gold without worrying about balance

Cons
⁍ less required mathematics and item tracking
Oct 4, 2023 3:03 am
Another variant rule that we could take is:

Gradual Ability Boosts
https://2e.aonprd.com/Rules.aspx?ID=1300

Pathfinder 2e boosts four (4) abilities (Con Int, etc) at levels 5, 10, 15, 20. To slow. The variant solves this by boosting one (1) abilities every level*

Pros
⁍ Boost every level

Cons,
⁍ Slightly more tracking as you cant double boost in the set of 5

(*except levels 6, 11, 16)
Oct 4, 2023 3:08 am
The 3rd variant rule that we could take is the ever popular

Free Archetype
https://2e.aonprd.com/Rules.aspx?ID=1333

This is a free feat at 2nd and every even level that can only be spent on Archetypes
https://2e.aonprd.com/Archetypes.aspx

Pros
⁍ a rich variation on characters
⁍ more choices

Cons
⁍ more choices, seriously there are allot of Archetypes. Allot of Archetypes
Oct 4, 2023 3:10 am
Let me know what you think about the "Gradual Ability Boosts" and "Free Archetype" rules

These new Bastion rules sound very interesting for people who might be founding a holding out in the wilderness.
