Terrain also is a factor. Open plains, light forest, pasture, farmland, etc is normal terrain with no real impediment. Hills, Forests, deserts are typically are
difficult terrain (-5 ft speed, 2 actions), while mountains, swamps, dense forests, are
greater difficult terrain (-10 ft speed, 3 actions). Crossing a river or pulling heavy carts will up the level of difficult terrain. Weather can also be a factor. Flying and water travel powers help.
Typical Activities are typically;
Travel through the Hex. (1-3+ actions, group).
Forced March through the Hex. (Adds an action, group, eventually becomes fatigued).
Reconnoiter survey and explore a specific area, getting the lay of the land and looking for unusual features and specific sites. (1-3+ actions, group).
Map the Area Map the hex with survival check after the areas been Reconnoitered. Allows future simple navigation (1 actions, individual).
Fortify Camp You can spend time fortifying your camp for defense with a successful Crafting check (1 actions, individual).
Track You use Survival to follow tracks (1 actions, individual).
Cover Tracks You use Deception to follow cover tracks (1 actions, individual).
