Hello all!

I was introduced to TTRPGs through D&D 5e and Star Wars d20 about 6 or 7 years ago and I've been hooked ever since. I am still very fond of both although recently I've been branching out into less rules-heavy stuff (Dungeon World and derivatives, Avatar RPG, SWN, FATE Accelerated) as well as more freeform story games (Microscope, Kingdom, The Quiet Year, Intrepid to name a few).

I'm hoping here I'll be able to join or run a game or two with the systems I can't quite sell my in-person group on. I have very little experience with PbP so any tips, tricks, strategies, advice, or the like would be most welcome!

Mainly PbtA adjacent stuff so far. We do have one Dungeon World veteran in the group who I've been trying to cajole into giving another go (though I'd probably use something like the Unlimited Dungeons hack). We had a nice one shot of Avatar Legends but not quite enough interest to try it again. Brought up Ironsworn for some potential co-op GMless experiments that didn't go anywhere.

Outside of PbtA, Stars Without Number got one session before petering out. Pathfinder 2e has been discussed. Some mild success with Ben Robbins' games. I've been talking up Paranoia since I got my hands on Paranoia XP a while back. I've also been sowing seeds for Ten Candles for when Halloween rolls round again.

They're willing to give things a go, but I think everyone's just a little too comfortable with D&D 5e right now. I might make some more headway once our current campaign wraps up, haha.
