Pipit can't sit by and watch this shakedown. She stands back up and ages her way to where the the bartender. "Pardon. Would you kindly wait your turn to be served? The barkers was getting me a drink before you so rudely interrupted. "

Well shoot she's causing a scene. I had this covered Ollie thinks to herself.

Kaydie sits, looking at the half-orc and rolls her eyes.
She whispers to Ollie

"Brutes like them ruin all the fun for everyone, but my money is on the elf chick."

"Sbould have just let them leave." Ollie gestures to the pouch now under her cloak.


She turns to the human male "Yes work. Their boss Veris has way more money than he needs."

Bah, sit down and know your place, commoner. the half-orc says to Red.

"No. You. Wait your turn. Actually, you should just leave. People were having a good time, but you and that yappy little mutt you got there are bringing down the mood. Push off or I'll light a fire under ya."

She raises her right hand between them and cast Produce Flame, but just holds it there.

That's cute. He smirks. But if you throw that, everyone goes up in flames, not just me. So do it. It won't stop Veris, and it might even get a bounty on your head.

Seeing their new friend about to start a fight Ollie climbs up on the table and tries to pull out her shortbow without being noticed. She aims it at the Half Orcs head and will hold. If either him or the gnome pull out weapons she will fire aiming for nonlethal damage.

"Ah, so you are on a leash yourself, I should have known. You two could never be the brains in an operation like this. Slink back to this Veris, empty handed, and tell him Red Pipit says there is no money here for him. If he wants totalk to me about that, he can come find me."

Looking at Kaydie, If she sticks around it will be hard to stay off people's radar acting like that. Ollie says

Kaydie sat at the table and face-palmed herself. She sighed.
She had a feeling that this would become messy really quickly.

Tep pulls up a seat next to the owl, watching things unfold.

"I'm guessing this wasn't the job?" he asks with a chuckle, making a brief gesture under the table and having a longsword appear in hand.

"...huh."

"If you insist."

"I hope you really like your new friend Kaydie. Ollie chuckles

"Who, me? I didn't draw a bow, did I? Oh well... I have your back always, Ol."
