Iosef's crossbow bolt flies past Grim's shoulder, penetrating the cultist's throat. The man reaches up to feel at the projectile's shaft, trying to say something, to cry out, but only a gurgle emits from him (AG 16: -8hp, dead).

As Loomis turns to Elias, Razhel takes advantage of the woman's divided attention and manages a powerful blow with her fist (-9hp).

Even as the cultist in front of him drop from Iosef's well-placed bolt, Grim bursts into the room and eyes the situation. He quickly calculates his chances with the cultist between he and Loomis, then dashes in and stabs the old woman with Red Destiny. "Die you murderous old hag!"

As Grim steps past the cultist flanking Elias, the man swings his club at him and hits him in the shoulder, hard (-3hp).

Grim shrugs it off and with a well-placed strike takes Loomis down, snuffing out her life just as she had done to so many others over the years (Loomis: -8hp, dead).

Axon and Elias are up again, now that Loomis is no longer in the picture.

Elias watches as Grim puts down the deranged old lady. He turns to the cultist "Are you sure you want to follow your leader?" he asks readying his sword in a clearly threatening manner.

Axon, not as keen to giving the enemies a chance to breathe, raises his arms and shouts to the void, "ጥቁር ሜትሮይትስ!", pulling icy meteorites from the darkness above down upon one of the cultists.

The meteorites pelt the man, but do minimal damage (AC19: -2hp, silenced 1 round).

The cultists only pause the barest of moments, then one screams, "For Zandalus!" and moves in to attack. The others follow suit, fanatical in their beliefs as they are, though the one hit by the icy motes finds his mouth makes no sound.

One steps closer into the fray and take swing at Elias, trying to get past his armor but fails to even dent it (AF17->AF18, miss).

The cultist in melee with Razhel takes his club in both hands and puts everyone ounce of violence he can muster into an overhead strike, bringing the weapon down upon her collar bone and sending waves of pain through her body (Risky Strike, 2-handed, -8hp)

The last cultist tries to take advantage of his counterpart on the other side of Elias and attacks the paladin as well, swinging hard. Elias catches the blow with shield, however, and turns it away (Risky Strike, miss).

As all but Grim's attacks fail to land, the cultists share a renewed vigor. The one fighting Razhel bears down again with both hands, seeing as his last attack was successful. This time, however, he fails to land his blow as Razhel dodges out of the way (miss).

The other two continue to gang up on Elias, both swinging with ferocity but missing (miss, miss)

As Grim takes a swing at one of the cultists on Elias, he catches the man's attention and the paladin is able to get in a hit (AD18: -2hp).

Razhel manages to smack the cultist next to her in the head incredibly hard and the man stumbles, blood dripping from his mouth. He tries to grin at her in some sort of macabre fashion but a tooth falls out. It would add to the intimidation factor if he didn't look so concerned about it. (AC19: -7hp)
