Grim moves northerly as the mist suddenly closes back in again. He strains his vision to make out the shapes and finds one of the sources of the accursed mist. He stabs his blade at the monster.

Razhel swings a powerful fist and all but caves in the face of the cultist she'd been focusing on. There's a sound as if a current of air is suddenly cut off and it falls to the ground, unmoving (AA6: -7hp, DEAD).

Elias attacks his chosen enemy also with success, his longsword biting into the creature's stomach and tendrils of yellow mist leak from the wound (AE11: -6hp)

Grim navigates the mist safely and finds his prey, swinging with Red Destiny and cutting into the creature's back (AC7: -4hp)!

There is a moment of hesitation as Iosef dithers over healing more before he chooses to aid in removing the things causing the need for healing, and fires a shot at the creature closest

Was I imagining us having a wand of healing, other than the lesser resto?

You got a wand of cure light wounds from Dr. Elbourne not too long ago. I'll look back to verify how many charges it had, but it had quite a few left, I believe.

Also, I'll get a post up once I get back from running errands.

Axon's dagger catches in the dirty, yellow garment covering the thing that once was a man, and fails to find flesh (miss).

Iosef's crossbow bolt flies into the mist and, largely due to the obstruction in vision, disappears to no effect into the fog (miss due to concealment).

The two remaining enemies bear down on Elias and, now rounding on the man, Axon! While Elias shrugs off the attack with ease (miss), Axon takes a punishing blow to his chest, sending him reeling (Axon: -4hp).

The mist around Elias spreads to fill the gap that had been burned away by Axon's magic.

That was my bad for not adding it yet to the loot list. Fixed.

EDIT: Just for tracking, Grim got one charge of the wand right after you got it as well. So now it should be at 22 charges remaining.

Elias quickly looks around to try to figure out what happened to the others, as they are engulfed by the mist once again. He can still hear the sounds of metal and flesh so he assumes he is not alone, but being there surrounded by sickening fog and the shades brings memories of the dream they shared before they found themselves in this nightmare.

For a moment he looks at the tendrils of yellow mist leaking from the cultist, wondering how could someone keep fighting with such a wound. Can these things even die or is this just another dream?

"Pharasma please accept these souls I offer you" he whispers a quick prayer to the Goddess as he tries to bring down the lunatic standing in front of him

Elias brings his longsword around for a powerful strike and, as if guided by some unseen force, the strength of it passes cleanly through the midsection of the enemy, halving its body and it falls to the floor as dark, yellow sludge slowly oozes from the gaping wounds and yellow mist dissipates around him (AE11: CRIT, -15hp, DEAD).

Iosef extends another surge of healing power into Razhel's pained body, relieving her of any remaining injuries (Razhel: +9hp).

Razhel tries to punch the enemy before her but misses in the fog (miss due to concealment).

Axon slashes at their foe as well, though the creature moves out of the way in a sudden moment (miss).

The enemy flails wildly about, smashing its fists at Grim now, but failing to make contact due to the concealment provided by its own thick fog (miss due to concealment).

Combined you fall upon the enemy, hacking and beating it into a pulp. As it dies, the fog begins to dissipate from the room, with only a little still escaping from the orifices and wounds adorning the unconscious creature's body.

You stand now in the strange room, the south wall laden with parchment pages covered in stark lines of coal and chalk. A hall stretches to the west.

Well done everyone! Perception DC 20 from all please. And what do you do with the unconscious enemy? What next?
