When you get back, Theo has had a bit of a rest and some water and a little left-over bread and is strong enough to talk in full sentences, even if his sister is still a little... is she drunk? It sure looks that way...
When you fuss about missing Phil he looks sheepish and apologizes for the fib, explaining: "'Phil' is my sister. Theuphilda. We did not think you would let her come along if you knew, and she would no help us with the translation unless we let come... so we lied, to everyone." Daryl looks flabbergasted. Phil smiles beatifically at you all --especially Norbert.
"When I heard that dad was saying she had been taken we tried to go home, but, somehow ended up here. This 'Auntie Nikie' person must have done something to our minds? But I knew you would come and save us."
"We don't think 'Auntie Nicky' is anyone's actual 'aunt'... or sister." The consensus seems to be from everyone you include in the conversation. "She's just called that because... because that is what she told us to call her."
There is some angry muttering about why people followed her, or did what she said, and that devolves into a --obvious-- realization. "Hey! She took our clothes and ran away! Leaving us to do the..." People turn to Theuphilda (Phil for short), "We're right sorry about the whole virgin sacerfice business. Can't imagine how we ever thought that was a good idea or would solve our problems. This 'Nicky' person just seemed so convincing. She tricked us."
What do you do?
