Chapter 9 - Boom, Anyone?
Taking out a frag grenade, Ken primes it and aims down the corridor. Bowling it after the departing stormtroopers. He turns and runs as fast as he can...

'Distraction created...' he pants into the comlink, hoping the pirates are going to turn around and take care of the stormtroopers for him.
OOC:
That's an Aim then spending some strain on a manoeuvre to duck back out of sight. Then he runs... I don't know whether he needs to roll for initiative or anything like that.

Ad-hoc hears a muffled explosion followed by Ken confirming a distraction. As Ken heads back towards the ship, he hears the light repeating blasters of the pirates intermingling with the familiar E-11s of the stormtroopers.
OOC:
since Ken had passed the stealth check, it was his call on staying hidden or initiating a surprise attack.

"Acknowledged. Thank you for being so accommodating" AD-hoc says before making one more sabotage attempt. After that, it's back into the vents. "Hopefully the techs didn't decide to remain there"

not sure if AD-hoc can take another crack at the fue lines, or if it would have to be something else. Can the triumph be one of us finding something useful on the way out? gear/tech/hostage etc

The Triumph can be just about anything. Obviously, you succeeded at screwing up the fuel lines, and now that you know where the 'Fuel Calibration screen' is, you can totally check your work. I mean, a Triumph isn't a 1.7 billion dollar powerball ticket, but it's in that direction. Let 'er rip.

ahh gotcha, then I'm open to suggestions. Looks like we are already getting back the the ship ok. Not really rooting for the pirates or the empire, but I don't wish them all harm.

AD-hoc slides back into access shaft and as he exits into a main tunnel near where the ship is docked, bumps into a protocol looking droid that immediately begins demanding to know where AD-hoc came from and what he's doing coming out of an access shaft.

Nox hears some light clanging and an agitated voice from the direction he was expecting AD-hoc to return from.

The protocol unit reminds AD-hoc that not all droids are friendly toward one another. He anwers, "As you may be aware, pirates have breached the vessel, and I didn't want to be seen." which was technically true. "I can show you where I came from, if you desire." and points toward their ship, intenting to follow and keep am eye on the protocol droid.

"Yes, everything is alright. I've just never . . fixed anything this large before. Also of note, I'll have a very inquisitive guest with me upon my return."

Ken comes jogging up to Nox just as AD-hoc appears around the corner, he's shushing along a very chatty protocol looking droid who stops dead in his tracks upon seeing the others.

"Rodian, Nautolan, You are not part of the Crew. These must be the pirates you mentioned. Oh, If the comms weren't still being Jammed I'd alert security."

"Rescued?" The droids head swivels between Ken and Nox. "I say, I don't believe Imperial Basic is your first language. You've used most of your words incorrectly. As pirates, I'm fairly certain that you are threatening to kidnap or destroy me... Oh, my."
