Chapter 9 - Boom, Anyone?
As the ship fills to capacity with goods and people, Ken's ear piece crackles. It's Pergano saying something about the docking entry getting crowded. Ken can now see the 2 Imperial shuttles, assumed to be full of Stormtroopers heading towards the landing bay.

'Time to go everyone.' Ken jumps into the ventral turret and takes aim at the shuttles. 'We still have an empty seat in the dorsal turret.'

Once the cargo is secure, and after verifying any Freedom Fighters aboard aren't threats to the ship, AD-hoc will head to the cockpit.

Pergano has the ship moving just as Nox is sliding into the turret. "I'm not sure we're going to make it without some more room. Between them and us..." Pergano leaves the statement hanging as he starts toward the crowded landing bay exit.

Just checking: Where on the ship is the droid we kidnapped rescued? And do we have any freedom fighters aboard, or only their cargo?

You have the droid and about 10 'Freedom Fighters' - The situation was convoluted enough that no one was sure if they were supposed to stay and fight or flee.

gotcha, thanks for the clarifications. For now I'll use a manuver to put all the shield forward, and an action to try and boost them.
AD-hoc says "It appears the resistance to us leaving, may be greater than our desire to do so. I will plan accordingly, but our gunners will more than likely need to clear a path." he then adjust all the sheilds to forward, and attempts to increase their power. 'definitely a safe assumption well be taking fire here'

'Let's make a path out of here,' shouts Ken and he draws a bead on the lead Imperial shuttle, letting rip with a stream of laser blasts. 'Bit of help Nox.'

Aim and open fire with the twin medium laser cannons

Not sure what kind of shuttle's we're against but I see they have 2 Def so I need to add 2 Black?

8 damage. These shuttles seem to have loads of HP so I'd like to use the Triumph to prevent them shooting back if I can - knock out the shuttle targeting computer or similar.

Ken's shots scream out of the docking bay, those near windows see some of the pirates diving for cover from the sound of the blast in such a closed space. The shots slam into the lead shuttle and you can clearly see sparks coming out of the main guns.

Pergano punches it towards space. Unable to use it's guns one of the shuttles begins to veer off to make way for the Ghest.

With the Ghest muscling in between the shuttles, Ken swivels the ventral turret around and strafes down the side of another shuttle, the twin laser cannons thundering into the hull.
OOC:
Too right Ken's going to take another shot! That's Gunnery upgraded once, one blue for Aim and one blue for the Advantages. He's aiming at a different shuttle that still has its guns working.

That's 11 damage and I'll trigger Linked for another 11 damage

Ken's barrage rocks the second Imperial shuttle, there's a temporary flash as some gases escaping the ship burn for a moment before being extinguished in space. A moment later, as the shuttle passes through the magnetic field into the hangar, the tear in the ship reignites with the fresh surge of Oxygen.
