Chapter 9 - Boom, Anyone?
Pergano veers the ship hard and accelerates along side of the Dreadnaught. Heading forward he keeps the larger ship between you and the Imperials. Within moments you're streaking away from the chaos and into Hyperspace.

It's a cramped ride back to the Asteroid base, but nobody seems to upset. The pirates appear happy to be alive and not to miffed at losing the Dreadnaught. Especially with the amount of gear they packed aboard your ship.

Any thoughts or actions before we arrive?

other than im having a blast, and thanks for continuing to run this for us, are we taking the freedom pitates to our base?

There wasn't any 'meet up' point since you were expected to leave them on the ship. But since you saved them, you can ask them where they want to go or go back to your base and let Dancy contact there leader and see what's up.

I think AD-hoc would know what was there, but so would the pirates. Let's just take our cut/bonus, and not anger them.

we can go to the base, I suppose it isn't super secret

Nothing to stop anyone from wandering through the cargo bay during the trip. Also, none of the pirates would be in the cockpit, so they won't see any navigation information or even the base, except from the inside.

I think Ken would chat with AD-hoc about anything particularly useful to reclaim it. I'm not super keen on bringing a bunch of pirates back to our secret base.

The pirate leader is not on board, which may make sense to check with these guys and see if they had a rendezvous point planned if things went bad.

While still in hyperspace, AD-hoc ask if any of his team know where they are supposed to be taking these freedom fighters before checking on the ship and the cargo.

Once they're out of range of the Imperials, Ken is in the lounge fixing drinks for all their new guests. 'I think you're gonna like this one...'

The crew accepts Ken's drinks and after a few minutes of hushed conversation one of them speaks up. "Rhen Var, there's a scattering of old bases from the clone wars and what not. We've cleaned up a few and have them on standby for regrouping, or just a get away. He smiles at that and one of the other guys starts laughing, "Oh yeah, that week with the Zeltrons, man that was the best way to blow some loot."

Ken looks to the others for their approval. 'Remember, it's finders keepers on all this salvage until we get paid.' Then he gives the thin-lipped Rodian smile. 'But I'll happily take your liquor until then.'

Not one for drinking or socializing, AD-hoc says "I'll help our pilot plot a course" and then heads to the bridge.
