Halflings have AC 11 so Aislynn burns 2 Luck to hit.

Hyde manages to break free of the goo monster's grasp! He steps away to give Honey and Aldar clear shots, but neither manage to hit the thing. Tim moves in to attack, managing to deliver a light wound. Kip finishes off the foe she hit earlier with a thrust of her spear, while Aislynn scores a lucky hit, decapitating one of her assailants!

The two remaining halflings shriek and turn to flee! Meanwhile, the eyeball monster whirls on Brother Tim, lashing out with a psuedopod.

OOC:

2 damage to Tim. Both Kip and Aislynn may make a free attack against the halflings as they turn to flee. Everybody may act!

Knowing this is her last round of the paralysis magic, Sister Honey whispers an oath over the crossbow as she takes careful aim at the large eyeball of the eyeball monster.

Seeing the bolt from her bow fail to hit its target a third time, the cleric decides to turn her attention to Kip’s wounds instead.

OOC:

Paralysis-imbued crossbow magic ends after three rounds. What a waste.

Aldar hits with his arrow, then Hyde and Kip slash, stab, and bash the goo monster! With the final blow, the creature collapses in on itself, dissolving into an ebony pool of gurgling acid. You can see a spellbook within the puddle, rapidly dissolving...

OOC:

While the book can’t be saved, a character could attempt to quickly rip out a spell page containing one random spell of level 1d3 before it’s destroyed (DC 15 Agility check). There is only time for one ability check. Failure causes 1d3 acid damage.

A search of the depot turns up 1 gp, 6 sp, and 11 cp in loose coins. There are four wheelbarrows in total, all in working order.
