Robbie picked up on Emilia's meaning with the word she didn't finish and her eyes went wide. She wasn't sure if she should find this cool or scary, but since she thought Emilia was pretty cool in general, she decided to go with that. "I don't know," she said, casually, trying to make it sound like breaking in would be no big deal at all. "I guess we can look at the house tomorrow and then decide. But should we go there before or after the bird expert?"

Tanya is also secretly relieved the bird came back. And amazed that they might have found out where that woman lives.
She thinks for a moment, scribbling something in her notebook. "I think checking out the house of that woman is more pressing... She was watching us, now we watch her. Either she is behind this, or like us, she's trying to figure this out."

--Wednesday, During School--
The following school day passes without any notable events. The worm incident from earlier in the week has faded into obscurity. The schoolyard gossip mill has shifted its focus to the deceased dog found on the school grounds. All three kids have heard rumors circulating about other small dead animals, including birds, in the area. The extent of exaggeration in these stories is difficult to gauge.
One particular rumor manages to capture their attention amid the chatter. It revolves around Mats Tingblad, a locally renowned ornithologist who used to educate the public about birds on the local public TV channel and has authored a couple of books on the subject. The rumor alleges that he has gone mad due to a failed Russian experiment, resulting in a gradual transformation into a half-man, half-bird creature. He is amassing a killer bird army to exact his revenge. The rumor took rather quickly with lots of pieces being added. Some say he fell into toxic ooze. Others claim he was pecked by a radioactive bird. Nonetheless, one thing remains consistent: they now refer to him as the Birdman

The three friends rendezvous at Robbie's farm, where Freddie eagerly leads the way. The journey proves interesting, as Freddie seems to have a distinct memory of the route, but only as he took it while following the young woman. First, he takes them to the colossal bird nest, where he insists on saying hello to his companions. Then they traverse forests and grassland, collecting burrs and maneuvering over branches. As they draw closer to residential areas, they occasionally cut through yards to maintain their course.
Eventually, they reach their destination, and Tanya is quick to recognize the address as the very one she had painstakingly hunted for only yesterday, intensifying her feelings of frustration. It's Gunnar Granat's house, a two-story, yellow brick residence with a red tiled roof.

It’s clear to the group that these two have taken it upon themselves to ‘keep this area safe’. You’ll need to deal with them in some way or sneak past them or they will create trouble.

She had worn cheaper worn clothes today, but even so Emilia is constantly whining and muttering under her breath through the entire journey, clearly unhappy with the situation.
'I am never agreeing to follow a bird again.' She grumbles as Tey finally get to their destination.
Before she can ask for the next part of the plan the sound of bikes makes her quickly turn and hide her face, stillctoncerned about being seen with the pair, especially in the state she is currently in.
At the accusation, and the fact she doesn't immeadiatly recognise the kid, and therefor hoping he won't know her she looks up and crosses her arms, an indignant look on her face.
'Excuse me? What person immeadiatly excuses some random girls of breaking into houses? If you must know we are on our way back from helping clean up parts of our countryside and forest of litter.' She gestures to her messed up clothes.
'What are you two doing? Do you just cycle around all afternoon accusing people trying to help the environment of random crime?'

If you want to lean into the ‘intimidation’, make a CHARM roll. Success means the boys apologize and leave you alone. Failure will result in them leaving you presumably to tell someone.

The boys then start talking to each other in whispers, but the girls can overhear them. "She's like a supermodel. I told you not to talk to her; now she'll never come back"
As they pedal away the girls hear "No way! We're not telling anyone about them being here. If she gets wind of that, she'll know it was us and never talk to us again."
With that, the boys are gone.

Robbie giggles at the boys' arguing as they depart. "Did you hear that?" she asks Emilia. "He said you look like a supermodel. I think he likes you." Briefly looking away and towards the house, she adds, "I mean, he's not wrong, but it was still pretty funny." She then clears her throat. "So, should we just ring the doorbell?"

"Well... The couple who live here are friends of my parents... They will recognise me. But the girl with the binoculars... I have never seen her before. Wait, didn't those kids say they saw a girl sneaking in? Maybe.. Might be good to hide and watch the house for a while?"
