Agna's fingers close around the stone around her neck as she summons the war chief within. "Vokarr! Keep it busy!"

While the spirit manifests, she tightens her grip on Nass and marches the other woman away from the beast. "Adaia! Get yerself together and run, girl!"
OOC:
EDIT: Forgot I needed to roll for Vokarr.

Adaia snaps to her senses a little, almost being equally afraid of Agna. However, still rattled by fear she begins to run back to the main cave.
As she gets to the doorway, she turns and attempts to bring a portion of the roof down upon the beast yelling out in equal parts fear and effort
"Die beast!".

Adaia stumbles over the words, and isn't able to make the right motions with her hands, causing her to lose control of the magic - as the roof begins to tremble so does her staff. She cries out again "DIE!" and her staff explodes, as a chunk of ice falls from the ceiling.
OOC:
Ooft a failure with the minus 1. I'm still not 100% on the pushing rules - but I think I can sacrifice an item to have a 'hard success'. So I've edited my post to describe that happening.

Vokarr works, but is now at -2 penalty for summoning
As Agna tries to rally everyone away from the creature, the spirit of Vokarr appears in front of the massive beast. The creature, slightly confused, is quick to change its target and charges the spirit...

Adaia and Nass run out into the tunnels, but the elf turns back, remembering what happened to Ezahne. She uses her magic to warm the icy areas around a frozen block in the ceiling and brings it down on the beast as it pounces on Vokarr. Being smashed prone on the floor, the beast quickly shakes the ice from its feathers and stands up, bloodlust in its eyes....

Adaia, seeing the beast barely slowed by the falling ice and her arcane focus now shattered is further panicked. "Quickly, Run! We can't beat it, I can only slow it down! her voice trembles and breaks I-i-i hope.
Adaia fiddles around in her pocket for the ring, her hands trembling, making it difficult. She slips it on as she gets through the door, and casts Gust of Wind using the Rings magic - hoping to slow its advance and give us a chance to flee, if even for a little time.

"Slowin' it down is good enough!" Agna takes hold of Nass and pushes her in the direction of the rest of the caravan. "Tell Beorne I want the caravan movin' in fifteen minutes. Damn the blizzard, we're gettin' out of this cave!"

Retrieving a mouse skull from her pouch, the orc crushes it into fragments in her closed fist and throws it in the direction of the owl monstrosity with a muttered incantation.

The creature rushes to kill Vokarr, but stops to look back surprised as it passes through the orc. The beast turns to Agna, knowing she was the one who summoned the ghost, but it's charged is blocked by Adaia's wind magic.

The orc takes the opportunity to make a magical display of force, but the creature is unaffected. It paws the ground with his front feet, belowing loudly, preparing to charge Agna.
OOC:
For boss fight, let's have Agna's fail give a +1 fatigue

The toll of the long night makes itself known to the orc, weariness making her arms and legs feel leaden. Her illusion falls short of scaring the beast. Agna heaves in a breath to shout her defiance at the monster, but comes up short again.

Adaia, afraid of the apparently unstoppable beast, decides the best option is to leave the chamber and contain it. Maybe with the dwarves' help they can stand a change once the blizzard ends. However, the elf slips on the ice as she turns to shout back for Agna to run. Nass is able to catch the elf just before she falls, and both make a run for it as the orc tries to intimidate the creature to no avail. The thing is stopped from mauling the orc by the Vokarr's spirit, which is dissolved by the creature's savage attacks.

Agna knows about nature. Maybe not so much about snowy monstrosities, but a creature is a creature and it generally hurts the same way. As the thing stands on its back two-feet, ready to crush the Agna, the orc quickly jabs her staff into its exposed throat, forcing the beast to take some steps back and recover its breath.
OOC:
One more success to beat it. With Adaia closing the door, looks like a strength or push sort of check would do it

Helda Silverstream
As Agna turns to escape though the door before Adaia manages to close it, Helda and a group of dwarves arrive. Still trying to catch its breath, the big creature decides these are there are too many of you to handle. It roars in frustration and outrage. Rearing on its hind-legs, it turns to to flee the chamber, slipping on the blood-slick floor by the Ezahne's body and slamming into the wall collapsing the tunnel just as it escapes through it.
