Kenjidor listened to the old man's tale, and thanked him afterwards for an enlightening story. As the group went westward towards Flamsterd, Kenjidor was not surprised to find the interior forest of Gwynneth corrupted by the power of the Shadowfell. It seems their prey is leaving behind a trail of death and corruption in their trail.
"I know nothing of how to undo a Shadowfell corruption," Kenjidor remarked. "We can either stay the night here and see if the creature is still around, or better yet, simply continue moving towards Flamsterd, for I fear that we're far behind this creature and need every second to catch up."

Your constructs were navigating ship through the night and half of the day when Bajaz announce it is time to visit the forest.
He teleport you into the forest leaving ship at a save distance from the coast. Going through the forest seeking a meeting with fey you.
Dense forest i hard to travel though and it's magic affect your mood in a gloomy way.
You can't find any fey until - after some half hour Atlas (and anyone else who has passive perception 20+) notice a movement in front of you. Someone's haiding hiding in the bushes about 150 feet away from you. Atlast can't make it clear that that distance, but looks like some predator (tiger panther) is about to hunt you.Bajaz shortly state A predator is nothing we can't handle, is it? and move on.

None of you can see the creature at the moment. What atlas perceived were based bushes moving and some sound maybe. Se you are sure predator is somewhere there, but you can't target it with spells that require to see it.OOC:

Kenjidor agreed with Bajaz. A simple woodland predator caused him no concern, but he kept his eyes out anyway. Even a natural animal could land a lucky ambush, so Kenjidor disappeared.
EDIT: He can go Invisible at will, so he’s using it now.

I’m sure we can handle most animals well enough, Bajaz. But I suggest please, if you’ll stay behind me, and let us figure out just what we’re dealing with firstly. This…shouldn’t take too long.

Pinmel will keep a telepathic link to Kenjidor. This lasts houors and unless otherwise stated or rejected he will keep it renewed to ensure he can communicate silently with the Pinmel while invisible
Pinmel also has his familiar shadow them as it flies invisibly from above and a bit to the rear.
As Atlas casts pass w/o trace Pinmel will cause a silent illusion that make their surrounding foliage a bit thicker and more full, just enough to temporarily obscure them from other, specifically the "beast?"

Thank you Seelah, you are indeed better equipped for thatAs Seelah and Bajaz moves on followed by others a leopard-like creature reveal itself by moving your way. As it moves your way you notice several snakes sprouting from its shoulders. Another similar creature moves in from the other side

Creatures see anyone except those who are invisible. Spell were cast after creatures spotted you.
There is enough bushes and trees to make a hide action (or bonus action if you are rogue or something) though

leopard-like creatures seems to behave in tandem, approaching party together, but after receiving "warm welcome" from the party run away together.
This forest is controlled by fey, these creatures are here only because fey let them. If they let them so should we. It appears Bajaz were only following logic and don't have any idea if there are any fey creatures watching you right now.
Party continue further and don't spot any other living creature, but soon (after perhaps 500 more feet) you find one of the that just recently attacked you lie dead on the grass. As you approach you hear some distant voices approaching - to far away yet to make out words yet.

Kenjidor looks away at the distance. Still invisible, he gets next to Pinmel and whispers. "I’ll go up there to scout. Set up the telepathic communication, so I can relay back what I see."

I believe Bejaz is suggesting that whoever is approaching us currently may believe that we killed the monstrosity. It would be our word against theirs...and we are the ones who just happen to 'coincidentally' be standing over its dead body at this moment. He thinks we should conceal the body to avoid the potential of our being linked with its death; even if we did beat up on it a bit.load next
