Kleber is a bit surprised at SheK pulling the warhammer and closing in, he thought she was mostly the ranged kind. No matter, his cheek dragon mark flashes briefly as he sends two bolts fly towards the Warforged.

Kleber’s first bolt ricochets off the guard’s shield, the second pierces through his armour, into his shoulder.

Sheriff stays where he is and fires two shots from his sidearm at the same patroller. The first shots impacts the warforge’s chest. As he fires the second, the guard gets his shield up.

37 watches the distant street corner expectantly, anticipating the next patrol to arrive any second.

After briefly shouting what was going on outside, Armat rushed back out, halberd down, to impale the embattled warforged.

Armat’s halbert knocks the soldier’s shield away and strikes true on both attacks, severely wounding the confounded warforged guard. Rather than draw his weapon, he draws the horn to his mouth. You hear a rush of air expelled from him as he silently blows the horn.

He turns to his companion, "We’ll hold them off as long as we can.", he says in a strained voice. The other patroller nods, resolute.

"Dammit... more incoming! They sounded the alarm... Sheriff, go!" And now the cannon needed to be manned. Frustrated, 37 again blasts at the patroller hoping to finish him off before backup arrives.

This time, 37’s lightning courses through the embattled soldier. Dropping his shield, he collapses to the ground, still clutching the horn. The light still flickering in his eyes, but nearly motionless.

Sheriff heeds 37’s call with a knowing nod and turns in preparation to run to the jailhouse.
OOC:
#3 is prone and shieldless, but not dead. Attacks on him will be with advantage.

As much as SheK really had intention to kill both the patrol, she can't find it in her to just kill the defenseless down patrol man. Appears she has a nasty streak of morality in her. She steps around him to attack the other patrol man. She rightly pounds on him hard. Obviously, she likes her warhammer much more than that useless longbow.
OOC:
SheK moves 10' to G19. Attack Patrol Man #4 with a 22. Pounds him for 13 bludgeoning damage, 4 psychic damage, and 3 extra damage. He is marked as a favored foe but she looses concentration on it due to casting of Hunter's Mark. Shek casts Hunter's Mark (Finder's Magic) with just a word as bonus action and is concentrating on it. He is marked as Hunter's Mark.

SheK has Warhammer & Shield in hands AC(17) and Concentration on Hunter's Mark to Patrol Man #4.

SheK’s hammer slams into the Warforged chest with a mighty *clang*. The soldier stumbles back from the impact, clutching at a fresh dent in his armour.

Unlike Shekeh, Kleber sees no issue in capitalizing on an enemy's moment of weakness. So the Gloomstalker shoots the downed fighter, making sure they won't be an issue later.
The ranger then sees an opportunity as the second patrol stumbles with a raises shield blocking it's vision. He rapidly unsheathes his rapier, and lunges at the opening.

Kleber’s bolt, catches the edge of the prone soldier’s armour and strikes the ground with a *thud*

As he goes to strike the other patroller, the guard raises his sword to parry the attack.

Sheriff dashes away and into the jailhouse, you hear him bellow, "Get ready, Child!"

As the warforged parries Kleber’s attack, he slices down on the orc’s arm before swinging round to chop at Peldan."You!", exclaims in a rage. The halfing ducks, just in time to avoid the attack.

Sorry, busy week.

Vice is up, with Peldan on deck.

Will anyone be joining those on the roof with the cannon? The NPCs will otherwise fire at the most obvious target.

Vice lets his chakram fly, and is ready to, well run and hide, but the timing of his attack is perfect. The soldier is too busy repelling and counterattacking Kleber, and distracted by Peldan to notice the weapon hurling towards the back of its neck. Clearly something vital is severed, because the light leaves the soldiers eyes, and it stops moving. Vice is just as surprised as anyone, and says . . . "Well, alright then . . . . what's next?"

Vice can't wait to tell a very embellished version of this story at the pub later. lol

As the soldier falls, 37, ever vigilant, looks to the next block to see another patrol round the corner. They don’t appear to be in a rush, yet.

lol, I was there. Took him out at 400 yards, head popped up three feet in the air. Crazy shot, man.

Still got one on the ground. The next patrol will enter initiative at the top of the round. Your initiative will remain the same for now.

Time was of the essence as more warforged were bound to be upon them in mere moments. Peldan, standing next to the prone survivor of their current encounter, pointed his hand at its head and released a stream of eldritch energy.

As the light fades from Peldan’s spell, the two other guards spot their fallen comrades. Shouting out, they begin a charge up the street. Waepons ready, shields up.

Sheriff returns to the jailhouse door and declares, "She’s coming…"

We’ll continue the initiative. They do not have ranged weapons, they will be using movement only for the next two rounds. Currently, they are 140 ft from patroller 3.

Armat is up with the patroller moving up, 37 is on deck.

37, roll me another perception check with advantage.
