Vice is definitely still frightened by the giant warforged, although the fact that she's glowing helps strengthen his resolve a little. He steps out and hurls two chakram at the Titaness

Vice’s first chakram finds a gap in the iron titan’s side and slices through the wood-like fibres beneath. For the first time, Vice sees the giantess wince from the pain. The second chakram hits a spot on her arm. The tiny gnome sees damage, but she remains focused on Armat.

Thunderous blows rained down at Armat, which he managed to dodge so far. His opponent was superior, but with numbers it could be taken down. He remained focused, engaging the abominable titan so it could not go for the others, lashing out with his halberd at weaknesses in the joints and gaps in its armor, although much was out of reach even for him. Still, his blows kept connecting. But they were small injuries to the titan, while it in turn needed only one good blow to finish him off. Armat would not let such thoughts dissuade him. It was better to die fighting to rid the world of these monstrosities than to grow old doing nothing!
OOC:
Armat attacks. He will continue to use Luck points to avoid getting hit by Titaness.

Armat clanks against her girded thigh, but finds a weak point stabbing into the fibres beneath her plating.

As Titaness flinches, Buff fires the cannon. The cannonball rips through her armoured shoulder and she shrieks in pain. A hole can clearly be seen passin through her, even from Armat’s level. Blue arcane light can be seen glowing within the cavity. While severely wounded, she stands firm.
OOC:
37 is up, with Garundah, Titaness and Second on deck.

One cannonball remains.

Garundah quickly loads the last shot into the cannon.

Titaness takes two massive swings at Armat with her arcane staff. He watches the staff descend upon his head, a flicker of light crosses the giant’s eyes and the blow instead strikes his shoulder. The impact nearly knocks him to his knees, but he holds fast. She then attempts an uppercut, but Armat is able to evade it

Second rushes to support his master. He nocks three arrows and a blue glow emits from his shoulder, down his draw arm and into the arrowheads. He fires with the three arrows magically streaking at different angles. However, all three arrows miss their mark. Vice sees one hit the far door jam. SheK hears the thud as it strikes the hay bale in front of her. Armat is too busy to notice his intended arrow streak past him and down the street.
OOC:
Armat: Only one luck point was needed. She missed on her own with the second swing.

SheK: Absolutely! The Salvation Hotel is two storeys tall. So 20 straight up and 10 feet over. That would place you at either -B26, -C26, or -D26 and eye level with Titaness. Let me know if that’s what you decide.

SheK you’re up with Kleber on deck.

SheK’s command echoes through the street. The embattled, glowing Titan refuses to look from the eyes of the red knight before her.

"I will never grovel before this godless wretch…", she says growls.

"Last shot! Let's blow another chunk out of her!" Kleber says with a grin as he puts the cannon in position once more. Despite the loud sound irritating his ears, he's thoroughly enjoying the damage the weapon can do.

Ten sits confounded by SheK’s sudden disappearance, but notices the little gnome peeking out of the hotel’s door. He rushes up to his new target. He takes two slashes, hitting with the first, missing with the second.

Sheriff runs into the jailhouse and behind the counter, grabbing and chugging from a brown bottle. Feeling rejuvenated, he grabs his pistol and readies to rejoin the fray.

First moves up, his arm also lights up as he nocks four arrows. As the arrows light up, he fires them in all directions. Vice watch’s another arrow zip past him, thankful there wasn’t another hit. SheK is hit the shoulder. She feels a magical force pass through the shaft into her arm, nearly knocking her over. Kleber watches an arrow sail just overhead, hitting the roof behind Garundah with a thud. Armat having avoided Titaness’ second attack, is hit in the hip by the fourth arrow. He too feels the force of the impact was a little more than expected.

Vice grimaced in pain. He knows he'll have to deal with this warforged that's attacking him, but decided to focus on the literal bigger threat right now, and continues to attack the titaness.

I'll use Silvery barbs as a reaction if Vice gets hit, or if the Titan hits Armat

OOC:
Tell us how the little gnome slays the giant!
Apr 11, 2024 1:45 pm
The first chakram cuts through the air, hitting the titaness loudly in the head, granting Vice her full attention. As she turns to look at him, the second projectile hits the same mark, and she slowly falls backwards towards her guards, sending up a large cloud of dust.
Vice is so surprised he just let out a small laugh, he turns to the nearest person, currently 10, saying "Did you see that!" and although he knows the skirmish isn't quite over yet, he's already imagining the lyrics to the songs that will be written about this day.
Apr 11, 2024 3:28 pm
As the Titan falls, Ten watches with Vice and becomes a little skittish. Her two escorts however, quickly reach for their next shots. The light flickering from the hole in her open chest and her eyes, a faint sigh or whisper is heard from her before the light blinks out.

A brief silence fills the dusty street.
