I could go either way. I know we have a rather small team right now so part of me wants to wait so we don't skip anyone or miss out, but I also know what can happen if a game stagnates, so...

What I think we can do is ping @GeneCortess, and the rest of us can declare actions and roll... then give him a chance to jump in, but we can move forward if we need to?


37 will make an attack on the second obelisk, believing it to be the right course of action based on all the preceeding rooms.

Active SheK has figured out one thing. If nothing is attacking it is a great time to destroy the obelisks. She crosses to the other one and beings to work in it with her warhammer.


Hopefully she manages to break it up some.

SheK and 37 team up on the remaining obelisk in the room. Several deep cracks form, but the object remains resolute.

Both hit, so I’d say keep them :)

Vice is up with the Chain Skeleton on deck.

Vice, in a hurry, rushes over to the statue, and pulls Envy out of it. "So are we going to leave him chained up there?" he ask, before striking the obelisk again.

I'm using cunning action to cover the distance, not sure if I can also attack.

Movement and cunning action is a bonus. Picking up a weapon is a free action. Envy sticking into the obelisk was flavour. You’re good to attack.

The trio make quick work of the second obelisk as well. As it crumbles and the light within flickers out, the scraping of the second coffin stops. The first skeleton lets out a chilling screech of anger. The chain wrapped around the creature coils like a snake beside him. A second chain whips out from the far corner, whipping at Vice. The gnome deftly sidesteps its sharp blades.

Peldan peeks out and skittishly points at the skeleton as invisible bells begin to ring throughout the chamber. For the second time, the chain clad skeleton shrugs off the halfling’s attack. "You’re as weak as she was!"

Seeing how riled up the undead is not wishing to try her luck just yet on it, SheK decides to high tail it back to just outside the room in the hall way coming. "Not sure what it wants but destroying the obelisk didn't destroy it."

SheK suspects this is a granddaddy of undead and thoughts to be hand to hand doesn't appeal to her.
