Vice gazes at the locked door, just past the chained skeleton. He doesn't want to spend any more time there than he needs to. "Oh, 37, can you work the same magic you did on my cloak, to fix my broken lockpick?"

SheK pulls out a pouch from her backpack and hands it to Vice, "Be careful and not break them." It contains Thieves' Tools.

Sorry guys, been teaching this week, it’s been busy.

Just a reminder that the chain has dropped and he’s no longer restrained. Also, 37 still has his turn. Mending can fix the broken pick if you wish.

Vice, if you’re good with being next to the guy, your movement and cunning action will get you to the door. Give me a DC 15 DEX check to open it.

I assumed mending the picks was 37's action this turn, as the spell requires a minute to cast... unless the chained skeleton seems actively hostile? In which case mending might be better saved for later...

Vice hands his broken lockpicks to 37, grabs the good ones from SkeK, hustles over to the door, and gets to work. 'No time to use Mage Hand . . .' he thinks to himself

As 37 inspects the pick, Vice dashes to the locked door. The nimble gnome’s fingers move so quick, it almost seems as if the door opens on it own, revealing a room with a hidden obelisk a few feet in front of him.

Almost as quickly, the chain-clad creature is upon Vice. The chain that once bound the foul monster, now lashes out at the little performer. Another chain from the Skelton whips out at Vice, slashing into him deeply.

A spectral form bursts out from the creature. Simultaneously, everyone sees the ghost as their greatest fear stands before them.

37, you may change your action if you wish, or mend for the next 10 rounds :)

I need everyone to make a wisdom saving throw for me. DC 14 or be frightened.

If you fail, let me know what you see.

Vice is able to open the door quickly, but isn't fast enough to escape through it. He practically falls to the ground as he is lashed with chains. He looks back at his attacker and sees a mixture of a jailer, and evil clown. (as if there was any other type of clown)

Peldan shudders at the spectral creature, but seeing his companion in peril drives him to act. The halfling dashes across the room, past the gnome and into the chamber. A glowing light emanates from his hand and Vice feels some relief from the pain of the barbed chain.
