The spiders marked with green diamonds are the closest group, the ones marked with red diamonds are further away.
Go ahead and roll a DC 16 Stealth check (if you haven't yet) to see how well you can ambush these guys. The DC is fairly high, representing their tremorsense/blindsight/websense/etc, but also takes into account that they're focused on something else entirely. If you succeed on the check, take 2 turns. If you fail, just take 1 turn. If you get 2 turns, anything killed on your 1st turn doesn't get to act this round.

"Fangs of the Auroth," Stella chants in druidic as the spiders approach. Spikes sprout from the ground beneath the rear spiders like hundreds of tiny fangs made of tree roots. (Spike Growth, centered on Sword Spider 2.)
Next, Stella raises Edwin's staff, and shouts an arcane word then flicks it forward, flinging a bead of flame that hits the Sword Spider in the back and erupts into flame. She had seen how deadly these spiders could be. If there was a time to use a fireball, now would certainly be a worthy time. (Fireball. Sword Spider 2 takes 21 fire damage. Giant Spiders 3 and 4 each take 10.) If the spiders had been climbing above the spike growth on any webbing, they'd have a hard time doing that now.
She then runs as far as she can get from the spiders.

Coming upon the thick strands of web Ida lays in wait as the boys throw stones to try and get the attention of the monsters lurking in the shadows. A small shiver runs down her spine as the monstrous arachnids descend the web looking for another easy meal.
Summoning her spiritual weapon to ensure she doesn't become ensnared in the web She directs the weapon to attack the spiders further from the party.

Despite a slight hitch, the plan goes well! Sure, the Silvershield lordling nearly becomes a spider snack, but he manages to escape the party's trap at the last second (leaving his prosthetic leg hanging in the webs).
It would seem Aldous makes good spider bait, because the spiders are totally unaware of their impending doom. The first sword spider goes down before it knows what's hit it (various weaponry), and the other two spiders with it are squished shortly after.
Meanwhile, the second group of arachnids has met with serious trouble, namely Stella's powerful spells. With spikes below and fire all around, by the time they stumble close to the party, Aiwe and Koveras are ready for them. Squish, squish, splurght and suddenly the party is once again alone in the Cloakwood, with bits of burning webs drifting through the air, and the smell of spider guts... everywhere.

While Dieter hacks off spider legs, Stella fetches Aldous' prosthetic one. She exhales deeply, dismissing her Spike Growth spell and calming herself and the adrenaline. As the root-like spikes retreat into the ground, she cuts the leg away from webbing with a dagger. She goes to hand it to Aldous, mind racing to come up with a leg-based pun, but nothing seemed to stick. Ah!
"I guess this is what happens when you stick around us," she grins at Aldous, shaking off a last bit of web. She hands the leg to him then holds his shoulder to steady him while he fits it back on.
"Agreed!" she says to Runeson, then points in the direction the spiders came from. "Let's keep an eye out for more spiders. And human-sized cocoons. Hunstman help us find him..." she adds in druidic. (Guidance)

"It really is good. Like crab! Besides, it's really cathartic to eat something that wanted to eat you."
While she talks she scans their surroundings, looking for man-sized cocoons.
"Do you think they have rodents of unusual size here?" Dieter wasn’t above eating rat or any manner of rodent or amphibian.
He sucks some of the meat out and forces it down his throat without chewing. "I... don't even know anymore."
He keeps hold of the spider leg. "In case the prosthetic comes off again," he winks.
He slices at it the way that Aiwe demonstrated, and then digs out a sliver of meatstuff with the tip of his blade. Into his mouth it goes, and he chews it thoughtfully. He swallows. "That was disgusting. But maybe Dieter could make it taste better with his spices?" He waves the leg Dieter's way.
Stella gags and turns away as some of the others eats the mostly-raw spiderlegs.
