Rhidon nods in agreement and gives Beruga a playful slap on the back. "You have the spirit of battle within you Beruga, a great showing."

Listening to the rest of the discussion about the heart, he reflects on his recent experience in the Ranger's trial when leaning into pacifism likely saved his life. "If this is happening when the heart is scared, battle could make it worse and possibly ensnare us in a similar charm. If the heart is being threatened, we may need to consider other ways to neutralize that threat."

Beruga looks down at the floor each time one of her friends misinterprets her view of the fight, but says nothing. When they retreat to the tile room, she walks over to a corner away from the others and begins licking her wounds for a while until she falls asleep, trying to dream about more pleasant days.

"That's a new trick.", says Barley as the elemental fills the doorway and looks pensively at Berulga.

"She seemed so excited and now...Best to leave her be.", Barley thinks to himself and sits cross-legged on the floor. Malachi appears by his side and he smiles at the little spirit as it curls up, mimicking sleep.

Vaun settled at one side of the fire that he built using torches. He sat cross-legged and brought his dairy, where he started to casually sketch. His wounds ached but he had taken sometime to clean and bandage them. The silent ambiance was eerie but somehow serene. He drew and watched the campfire, the reflection of flames dancing in front of his goggle's lens. After sometime he spoke up, "You know, Beruga's plan might work. We had visions of the city's splendor beauty before all this happened. We can project the thought that we are building and nurturing the city, tending to it's many places, weeding and seeding to bring a better outcome. Maybe even appointing a new guardian? Maybe the heart will understand our sincerity and stop attacking us?"

"That might work. Prehaps you could make one of your sketches before we turn in, Vaun? I would love the inspiration to help the vision. I could make a pocket illusion using it as a base.", Barley says scratching his chin.

Vaun pondered the thought, "It would be an interesting attempt. Let's see how the sketch goes."

OOC: Rolling to see how good the sketch is.

Watching Vaun work on the sketch, Rhidon reflects on the creative nature of the town and the artwork they were compelled to make shortly after arriving. "I think you might be on to something here Barley, this place seems to pulse with an artistic energy. Maybe the answer lies in that realm as well."

"Prehaps a manuscript or sculpture acting as a talisman for whatever entity scared the heart?", ponders Barley

Vaun felt better after resting and sleeping for sometime. He stood up and nodded at others to continue with the exploration. "I am feeling much better; my healing concoctions are all prepared. We can proceed with our quest here. Let's explore the other rooms." He lit up a torch and started walking towards the elemental guarding the door.

"That's good to here, Vaun. Malachi you may want to disappear for a little. At least until the danger is gone.", say Barley.

Malachi form turns into a smokey haze, his piercing cat eyes remain a little longer and then finally fade into thin air.

As Malachi disappears, Barley adresses the Elemental's ungelating form, "Please lead us to the Heart and thank you for your protection."
