OOC Thread

I've tried to use dialogue from my character to keep things fun and "kiddy", but I'm happy to work with the group to play however people are most comfortable.

I hate that I'm stepping out of your game again, but either they are kids or they are experienced adventurers - I can't bridge the gap. If there was some sort of outside pressure that would force the kids to grow up quickly to survive, it would be easier, but they have been asked help out, there is no outside pressure, only their own good will.

Then let's take the easy out and just age them up. If we need a storyline reason, we can say that it was something Halaster did in Undermountain. Undermountain is full of surprising and odd things and effects. By the by, there is a motivation (at least for Trig and Crow, and possibly the rest of you by extension) in that whoever came after Anwyn has now sworn vengeance on them for their interference.

Anyway, it's easiest to say that they have always been adults, so let's roll with that, if everyone is okay with it.

I feel like it’s a good change. As much as I liked what I took to be kind of a Hardy Boys concept, I think I’ll ultimately immerse into the game a bit better now.

All my existing character business goes out the window...but I think I have some ideas on making new stuff that will be fun, too. It'll be a bit disjointed when we come back and read the game threads years from now, however. I'll try to note when it happens so the reader (most likely just us) will have some idea.

I'm fine with aging my character.
