Is a Crysma more like a Shardmind or Crysma from pathfinder?

Could I flavor it more like a shardmind?

No one has played a crysmal so I am open to content,
[ +- ] Spell Touched
Psionic : similar to Spell-Touched but with telepathy and telekinesis instead of magic. Telepathic communication, detect life/thought, TK push

Shaman : similar to Spell-Touched but based on spirits giving greater beautiful but slower. Sense spirits, summon Sprite,

Cleric : similar to Spell-Touched or Shaman but reliant on a deity. Options based on deity type.

Artificer : craft or repair items
Precognitive : affect probability
Teleportation : Change location without moving
Necromancer : create minor undead
Psychic : ESP to gain information

I think I am going to go Crysmal
Psionic for one Trait.
Is there a good Trait for not having to Eat, Drink, or Sleep?

Thinking of this item.
• Arcane Amulet : This glows brighter based on proximity to or power of magical energy (The magical Energy is something similar to their own)

Any suggestions for a trade?
Basic character idea is Ishzu was They were created by an unknown being.
They are searching the world for their maker and others like themselves.
The wander about helping folks if needed.
If someone needs an extra hand plowing the field Ishzu will hide nearby and wait for the farmer to sleep. In the light of the moon he will finish plowing the field. Then walk away without an care.

We can swap out the racial trait brittle for "Crystalized Life" for not needing to eat/drink/sleep.
Brittle was an experiment early in the cmpaign but it never got play test though others have and if you want soexmething similar it would still stop some damage but not what is listed. Ex: Crystal Armor : You have bonus Hit Point that recovers 1 hour after you were last damaged. If you wear other armor you loose these benefits.

Trade :
A: Wanderer : wide knowledg of the world and various cultures
B: Major Domo : hosehold management, etiquite, etc
C: Lab Assistant : pick artificer, alchemist, or herbalist

Would Crystal Armor be another trait? Or part or Heritage?

Crystal Armor replaces the heritage trait I had listed. So it would be Cryasta Armor Heritage, Crystalized Life Trait, Psionic Trait, Wanderer Trade, Amulet of magic detection

I am assuming that when I mentally talk to everyone I can do it as a group.

Lets say conversational broadcasts is limited to proximity, near zone or 25-30 feet
You can "shout" for triple the range but it attracts a lot of attention
targeted requires a test roll in combat or other delicate situations, regular roll for a "whisper" to nearby targets or disadvantage at range

I won't usually bother with it but may ask for a roll and this is my thinking on the matter

either spoiler or coloring with targets prefacing it is fine

For my HP I have it set up so Red box is Current HP, Green Box is Max HP and the Gray Box is my 2 "Temp HP" from Crystal Armor.

I am going to assume I can't be healed to fix the 2 Temp HP. Those can only come back on their own.

As Ishzu finished his intro/tutorial he can add a trait or weapon proficiency/mastery. If you plan to stay focused on your mental abilities then you could take something like Healer(always in need), Familiar, Beast Speech, etc

I was thinking of taking one of the following:. Reflavoring them as Psionic abilities.
Dark-fghter: Who needs eyes, when I have all the other senses? You do not sufer Disadvantage for having your sight impaired.

Healer: I’ve seen worse, son. You’ll pull through. As an Action, you can Test 2d6 to heal a creature other than yourself. If the Test is successful, the target creature is healed for 2 Hit Points. Tis Trait can also be used to cure poison, disease, and other physical ailments that are nonmagical. You must be next to the creature to heal it.

CRYSTAL MAGIC uses the power of the mystical to influence emotions, feelings, and thoughts.
Communicate: You may communicate via distances to any being you are aware of. If they are within sight, this does not require a Test. If they are not within sight, you must Test successfully. If they are further than 100 miles away, you must Test with Disadvantage.
Pacify: Test to quell the negative emotions in a target. If successful, you gain Advantage on your next roll against that Target.
Timeview: Test. If successful, gain one detail about the history of an object or location you can touch or see. You can only do this once per item.
Unsettle: Test with Disadvantage. If you are successful, one enemy suffers Disadvantage on all Tests until the start of your next turn.

DIAMOND MAGIC uses the power of the frozen storms andthe arcane vortex to unlock chilling powers.
Bone Chill: Make an Attack Test. If successful, the target takes 1 damage, and Disadvantage on their next Test.
Coldsnap: Make an Attack Test. If successful everything within 10 feet (Near Zone) suffers 1 damage.
Blood Freeze: Make a Test. You may cause one inanimate object that is about half your size or smaller to shatter and break.
Glacial Mind: Make a Test. You cause one target to lose an action on their next Turn.

It's Psybermagi's decision, but I have already advocated somewhere else in this game's discussions for reflavoring the magic disciplines for psionics.

As a counter-point, there is some add-on material that reflavors and adjusts them to directly be psionic. I can go look those up, if everyone is interested ...

I would not be opposed to seeing some descriptions of traits/proficiencies/flavor options somewhere in the reference or character creation spaces.

After the Intro session I give everyone 10XP and have them select either a trait or proficiency or mastery (weapon or armor)

Healer and Dark-fighter are fine
No Crystal or Diamond magic at this time. Those are prestige traits which can only be taken once you have gained at least 2 more traits or proficiencies.

Psionics comes from the The Crystal Mines setting in the tiny dungeon setting

You finished the intro and normally that would have a break in betweek that and the next adventure. Since there wasn't I see no reason you can not have a portion of your power present itself under durress. Add it now and you can use it next round :) Have fun and remember "Never be not affraid!"

In my inventory, I had rations and oil listed. How many rations would I have, and how much oil?
I don't need to eat the rations, but I keep some on hand in case I find someone who does need food.

Going to Novice gets you a trait or mastery going to Veteran gets you the other one, and you start gaining XP. It looks like you are now Veteran, so, yes, you get to pick your mastery weapon.

My Heritage is

The two Traits I picked at start were
# Crystalized Life
You do not need to Eat, Drink or Sleep. 6 hours of Stasis fully heals you.
# Psionic
Your mental power extents to telepathic and telekinetic manipulation. This includes the ability to perform Telepathic communication, detect life/thought, and move objects with you mind.
To use this ability, simply describe in detail what you are trying to do, and perform a standard 2d6 Test. If you are trying to manipulate an object, you must have eye contact with it. The GM has final say if something falls into the Psionic ability.
You can also perform a simple Ranged, mental or telekinetic, attacks. This is treated just like any other Ranged attack in Combat and requires an Action and a successful 2d6 Test
+ Psychic sensitivity to mental and spiritual forces
+ Telepathic communication : willing individuals
+ Telekinesis : tiny objects
Roll to do the following
+ Psychic sensitivity : detect nearby minds
+ Empathy : you feel strong emotions
+ Telepathic or Telekinetic Blast : attack
+ Telepathic suggestion : plant minor ideas or sensory input
+ Telekinetic Push : move small items, trip someone, etc

Now that I am a Veteran I get a Weapon Mastery.
I would choose my Staff.
Does Weapon Mastery just make it so I can always attack with advantage (Unless told otherwise)?

Yes.

If you don't have Proficiency with a weapon, you attack with Disadvantage.
If you have Proficiency with a weapon, you attack normally.
If you have Mastery with a weapon, you attack with Advantage.

Proficiency applies to a weapon group. Mastery applies to a single weapon. "Staff" is a good choice for Mastery. I don't know whether it is light melee or heavy melee. (Or if it can be either.)

Thanks to the assistant Game Manager @daryen. You should now have 4 traits (heritage +3) 1 proficiency and 1 mastery

Do note that with
[ +- ] Psionics
The basis of the ability is above the horizontal line. Very vague. Stuff below the line are examples. with this trait you can not move anything you could not do with a single hand. Pick up a teapot, swat a fly, punch someone in the face. I let some stuff slide due to the chaos of the fight. Skeeve can do more with it due to him having taken a Prestige trait.
I let characters do a lot in role play without rolls, and sometimes beyond what they technically can do, to make the narrative more fun. But when facing a challenge or in combat I will be more of a stickler.

Pague Carrier : Immune to normal disease. Advantage to Save vs magic disease. 1/d melee attacker that deals damage must save or be infected (disadvantage on all test till Save).

I was just thinking about this. As the only Crysmal thought I could/should chat on here about it.

With the changes I now have 2 Heritage traits instead of 1. Is that ok?

I don't fully understand the Pague Carrier one.

Anyway to include Immune to Posion also

You were a bit of an experiment. Which I have tried to encourage. Basically you got an early 2nd heritage trait. Others can too now. It will eventually balance out if you stick around so don't worry about it.

I thought about it but even though you have a different body than most you still have body functions so there are some chemicals that affect you. This game tries to keep it simple and I try to stick to that, though my creative and engineering sides keep mucking up the elegance of simplicity. So no, Crysmals are susceptible to poison

Basically Plague Carrier make you immune to basic disease and resistant (advantage) to magic disease. This lets your body hold disease without reacting to it. When an enemy strikes you (if you have the trait) then the impact releases some of the disease which begins attacking the creature that just hurt you. So when you have to fight mummies, vampires, and werewolves, expect people to stand behind you.

Ohh I am fine being an experiment. Test away. You know me enough to realize I am easygoing.

I am currently fine with my current traits (heritage or otherwise). I do like the name Crystal Armor (Or something similar) better then Ablation.

I understand Plague Carrier now.
Pretty much my Crystals can store diseases in them and when someone attacks me they break some of the crystals storing the Disease and such.
