Congo feels bat creature Gaze steal some of his desire to survive this
OOC:
Your max HP reduced by 13, if that leaves you with current HP above max you reduce current HP to the max
OOC:
Initiative order: Atlas, Pinmel, Morgan, Congo, Ghouls, Bat-Demon, Curran, Sky, Bajaz, Bhrok, Seelah
Jan 28, 2024 7:13 pm
Standing next to Bajaz, I lunge my blade toward the bat creature's soft, vulnerable bits. I throw caution to the wind as I lash out with my dagger as well.
OOC:
Action: Attack with short sword. 15 to hit for 30 damage
Bonus: Attack w/ dagger. 21 to hit for 8 damage.

If my first attack does not hit, may we please use the 23 sneak attack damage from the first attack and apply it to the attack that certainly hits with the dagger? That would make the dagger attack be for 31 total damage.

sure, adding sneak to dagger, AC is indeed above 15. So it's 38 non-magical piercing damage, right? The creature has resistance to that
The wall of fire is gone Bajaz say and stretches his arm toward demon. His hand surrounded shadow-wreathed reach demons's chest and you see Bajaz healing the wound demon just made him, while demon cry in pain.

Presenting the old man with a broad toothy smile, the half-orc hungrily smacks his lips and whispers hoarsely: "I've been waiting for you." That the old pink is helpless as a babe doesn't spark mercy or some kind of regret in the warrior from the north. Instead he trusts his sword mercilessly into the humans body.
OOC:
Standard: Extra Attack, reckless, Great Weapon Master

If Curran falls, please let me know the number of attacks necessary and I will describe the rest of Bhroks turn.

Bonus: If necessary third Attack

Two attacks were enough, feel free to describe how you finish him
Jan 30, 2024 5:36 pm
Viciously impaling the devil-worshipper on his greatsword, Bhrok hoists him seemingly effortless off the ground and high above his head. "Whaaat?!! Is this all you got?!! You soulless vermin! Diiiieeee!!" Heavily disappointed that this fight had ended so soon, the berserker flings the flapping body without a second glance to the floor and steps over it. Eyes frantically searching for more victims with the audacity to stand in his way.

As his bloodshot gaze meet Seelahs his fearsome grin starts to widen and it seems that the half-orc found his next opponent. But something deep inside the man from the Kingdom of Many Arrows is still conscious enough to let the berserker barrel out of the room - to find someone else to slaughter.
OOC:
Thanks for the quick respond. :)

Muttering a spell Pin stretches his mind out to detect any nearby presents before moving to examine the body of the fallen sorcerer.

Damon fit by guiding bolt shakes in annoyance of the dim light glittering.
Pin only detect Morgan's surprisingly intellectual mind. He finds a mace and a pouch on Curran's belt, amulet on it's neck. Investigating his small backpack will require more time (next turn)

OOC:
Initiative order: Atlas, Pinmel, Morgan, Congo, Ghouls, Bat-Demon*, Curran, Sky, Bajaz, Bhrok, Seelah

Bat-Demon: first attack against it has advantage
Jan 31, 2024 5:36 pm
It is obvious now to Pinmel that Tressym looking Morgan thinks more like him and any other person. That and he now knows that it is in mental conversation with Congo from what he grasps. Morgan does not use just simple language or broken language. It is obviously fully fluent in its thoughts. (INT 19 Genius).

Morgan is surprised to see Curran had bit the big one. It makes a double move to H10 as it moves though the room and passageway to see again the bat in combat and more importantly Congo as it continues its conversation with Congo mentally. Morgan is moving stealthy still at 17 Stealth.

The healing that Congo received did nothing due to the fact that the Bat reduced his max hit points below the mere 4 points of damage that he did have. So, Congo is now 13 lower than max. now, but fully healed per say at 85 HP. (GM: What does it take to counter that loss as we do have a divine caster among us?)

Congo doesn't feel the hit from the bat gaze so much as just annoyed that it is so magic resistant. Being a caster that of course bothers him. So, Congo goes for something simpler that is next to impossible to resist. With an arcane word and twist of his wrist, he sends bunch of force missile to pound the Bat creature some. He announces to those with him, "Curran is dead now." After trading mental thoughts with Morgan.
OOC:
Congo casts Magic Missile with slot 4 causing 6 missiles to launch and each doing 1d4+1 force damage for 23 Force damage. Congo doesn't move.
[ +- ] Magic Missile Spell
