With a quick look around the room, I breath a curse as there is nothing I see to provide cover. I unsling my crossbow and aim at the front ghoul, staying on the right side of the room. Then an idea comes to mind.
OOC:
If I understand the map correctly, the spiral stairs descends counter-clockwise and stops at this floor. If possible, Sky would like to stand on a lower section of the stairs and pop up to shoot his crossbow. If that is the case, Sky would now use his movement to position himself there. If that's not possible, please let me know.

Rolls

Light Crossbow - Attack ghoul - (1d20+10, 1d8+5)

1d20+10 : (2) + 10 = 12

1d8+5 : (4) + 5 = 9

Jan 5, 2024 2:58 pm
Sky runs few steps upstairs and makes a hole in closest of ghouls, Bajaz proves his magic abilities creating a wall of fire in the room with Ghouls preventing them from reaching the party.
Curran, surrented NOW or die. You know me! he cries.
OOC:

@soises your turn
Jan 6, 2024 12:07 pm
Giving Bajaz a dark look, Bhrok spits out in frustration and restrengthen his grip around the huge blade's hilt. This is a time the ranger could really shine. Swinging his axe against numerous enemies is a speciality of his. And the Oooh-so-valuable spell of the warlock, Bajaz moaned about just a few seconds before! Used to block a door against some barley threatening undead. What f*cking waste.

But the man pays them to follow him through this bizarre hunt. So... Turning to the door in the east, the huge half-orc strides forward and treis to discern how to open the damned thing. With a bit of luck, there would be some other foes, where the man from the Kingdom of Many Arrows could play to his strength. Overcoming invisible foes isn't one of them.
OOC:

Move: g7
Standard: perception.
Bonus: -

Bhrok would try to open them. If there are too many foes behind it, he would close it as well as possible. (leaning against it with the rest of his movement, or suchlike

Rolls

Perception Dc: 15 - (1d20+7)

(19) + 7 = 26

Jan 7, 2024 10:37 am
Bhrok carefully study east doors - they appear to be well made iron doors. Brook notice tiny scratches proving the doors are opened by sliding them left (into the wall). He try to slide them with hands, but no matter how hard he try - iron is too plain and doors are locked. To put more force and break the door open he find a scratch on the right side big enough to put an end of a sword into it - he can push the sword against the wall...
OOC:
Now with that information at hand any PC could use their action to force open the doors with a successful DC 23 Athletics checks

Initiative order: Atlas, Pinmel, Morgan, Congo, Ghouls, Quasit, Demon, Curran, Sky, Bajaz, Bhrok, Seelah

OOC:
did you see the expertise? and Bhrok has a crowbar. (Adv.) Maybe that helps? :)
Jan 7, 2024 6:04 pm
Our turami paladin attempts forcing open the great iron doors.
Bhrok, your crowbar please, Seelah says to her friend. With kind assistance, Seelah gives the doors as great a pry as paladically possible!

Rolls

Athletics, advantage w/crowbar - (1d20+10, 1d20+10)

1d20+10 : (10) + 10 = 20

1d20+10 : (8) + 10 = 18

Jan 7, 2024 6:51 pm
Seelah takes crowbar attached to Bhrok's backpack and attempt to put it into the only scratch and use wall as shoulder to move the doors. They move slowly, very slowly a few inches. But then suddenly magic force pushing the doors back close prevail and crowbar jumps in Seelah's had as doors shuts.
Doors close silently. Seelah steps back to give Bhrok room.
OOC:

Yes Crowbar certainly give an advantage on this task
Initiative order: Atlas, Pinmel, Morgan, Congo, Ghouls, Quasit, Demon, Curran, Sky, Bajaz, Bhrok, Seelah
I've moved Atlas to the middle of the room because I have no idea where Atlas ended last turn. Feel free to assume different location.

Atlas runs over to Pin's body. She pulls a diamond out of a pouch and crushes it in her hand. The dust floats down, coats Pinmel, and brings them back to life. "Welcome back. Be careful." She vanishes in a cloud of star dust and reappears back with the others.
OOC:
@Psybermagi Back to 1 hp! I move to D9 and cast Revivfy. Starlight Step to D4
[ +- ] Revivify
[ +- ] Starlight Step.

Cursing his overeager folly, Pin uses a spell, vanishing in a swirl of mist, to move back down the hallway and says to Atlas Thanks

Rolling to his feet Pin warms the rest of the party There is something vicious with greater invisibility down there. and pints to the south as he does up and to the side and drinks a healing potion.
And he drinks a portion of healing
[ +- ] Misty Step (W)
OOC:
teleport to D4 the fly up and to B6
I wasn't quite dead. Just mostly. But I assume revivify still heals 1 HP to the unconscious

Pin is back to life and Congo cast fearie fire to only prove the larger demon is an illusion, though the invisible creature seems manage avoid the spell
You hear creature try to move back away, but it's smell and sound of wings give it away for most of you (everyone with passive perception 13+ understand that creature gone South-East)

OOC:
I read MM Quasit have Passive Perception 10, so he is not aware of the invisible creature due to it's stealth roll 13
Also - would you please give me a precise map location to avoid yet another misunderstanding, I'm not sure I precisely understand English term by in this context.
