I have a question about this Unarmed Combatant details, I didn't understand the Shock part, can you please explain to me? And what is TL4?
Sure! Many melee weapons have a Shock trait representing the danger they pose to an ill-armored opponent, even if you
fail your attack roll. It represents the
inevitable cuts, bruises, exhaustion, and terror of close combat. Shock damage is only inflicted on a melee target if the hit roll fails, and it only applies if the target has an AC equal or less than that listed for the Shock. In your case, if you
fail your roll, you cause 1d6 damage (from your focus) and, if the target has AC 15 or less, +2 (your Punch skill level + Strength modifier). More about Shock on page 72 of the PDF
Technology Levels (TL) describe the basic technological infrastructure of a world or nation. A tech level of 0 is equivalent to a Neolithic society, one capable of only the most primitive technological achievements, while TL3 represents the Earth at the end of the 21st century. Most modern post-Silence worlds (the setting were we will play our game) are TL4, capable of building spike drive starcraft, energy weapons, non-sapient expert systems, and other high-tech devices beyond the capacity of 21st-century Earth. Some armor in this tech level (ie. Power armor) is
immune to primitive weapons and unarmed strikes from most people. Not from you. Your hands are lethal. ;) For more details about the armor, see page 68 of the PDF.

@htech which status bonus influences in Pilot?
Usually Dexterity, but specific situations may call for Intelligence or something else.
@tuinho2012 unfortunately,
no starting character can begin with a skill level higher than level-1 (see page 13 of the PDF). If some mechanic or skill choice allows you to pick it a third time, you must instead choose other thing or keep it (for the other bonuses) but increase any other non-psychic skill level in its place.
OOC:
My recommendation (that you don't need to follow, of course): Choose the Specialist focus twice instead of the Starfarer one. That will pretty much almost guarantee that your Pilot rolls are going to be high.

what is the "enc." on the equipament tables?
Encumberance. A character can have
Readied a total Encumberance equal to half their Strength score, rounded down. A character can only draw or use a
Readied item as part of any action they may take during a turn. If an item shows in a table that doesn't have the "enc." column, it's encumberance is usually 1.
A character may have a number of
Stowed items equal to their full Strength score.
Stowed items are carried in backpacks, in carefully-balanced leg or arm pockets, or otherwise packed away where they will least encumber the character. If a character needs to get out a Stowed item in a hurry, they must use their
Main Action to dig it out of their pack or pockets. As such, they can't attack, use a skill, etc during that round. More details on Encumberance are in page 65 of the PDF.
