I wonder how strong i would be if i had to classify myself in a scale from 3 to 18?
The unknown entity keeps thinking and finally comes to a conclusion:

Next, decide whether to roll for additional skills or
pick them. If you pick skills, you can choose two
more skills from the Learning table of your background. If you roll, you can roll up
to three times, dividing up your rolls between
the Growth and Learning tables as you wish.

In the meantime, I think your PC is complete, but missing their name, pronoums and goal. =)

Physical Description:
Nesta Venbar is a striking figure in the futuristic landscape, her vibrant purple mohawk standing tall as a beacon of rebellion. Complemented by a low-cut fade on the sides, her hairstyle reflects a bold and contemporary fusion of style. With gray eyes that hold a depth of experience and fair, white skin providing a contrasting backdrop, Nesta's physical presence is both alluring and enigmatic.
Cloaked in a large trench coat or leather jacket, she carries an air of mystery that conceals her left forearm, a testament to resilience and adaptation. This limb, a prosthetic marvel, not only serves a functional purpose but also incorporates a screen, seamlessly blending her physical and technological identity. Nesta's entire appearance is a visual manifesto of defiance against societal norms, a declaration of individuality, and a tangible representation of her prowess as a hacker navigating the intricate digital realms of her futuristic world.
Backstory:
Before her life became entwined with star freighters and hacking endeavors, Nesta Venbar grew up on the outskirts of a sprawling metropolis. Raised in a modest community, her early fascination with technology blossomed as she scavenged and tinkered with discarded electronics.
Nesta's innate aptitude for understanding and manipulating technology caught the attention of a local tech guru, who became her mentor. Under his guidance, she honed her skills, developing a deep understanding of both the legitimate and clandestine sides of tech.
However, financial struggles led Nesta to seek employment on star freighters. Initially drawn to the promise of exploring the cosmos and advancing her technological expertise, she soon found herself disillusioned by the stark contrast between the privileged passengers and the struggling masses.
The tipping point came when Nesta uncovered a dark secret during routine maintenance – evidence of illegal activities sanctioned by the wealthy patrons.
Disgusted by the immoral underbelly of the star freighter industry, she decided to abandon her role as a tech within the system and forge her own path.
Driven by a sense of justice and a desire for personal freedom, Nesta transitioned into hacking. Her skills evolved rapidly as she delved into the world of digital subterfuge, and she began targeting those she deemed responsible for perpetuating inequality.
Nesta's transformation from a small-town tech enthusiast to a disillusioned star freighter worker and, eventually, a hacker with a mission, forms the intricate tapestry of her journey, reflecting the complex interplay of technology, morality, and personal growth.
Summary: Nesta Venbar's journey unfolds from a tech-savvy upbringing in a modest community. Her mentorship under a local tech expert fueled her skills, but financial struggles pushed her into the star freighter industry. Disgusted by illegal activities of the privileged passengers, she transitions to hacking, fueled by a sense of justice and a quest for personal freedom.
Anyway, sounds good and nothing against it. We will also need to describe how she met the other PCs.
P.s.: really looking forward to that master's degree to come into play, can't wait to have to explain what vulnerability i'm using when i make a hacking roll /s
OOC:
- For my character's background, I've chosen Physician. That gives her Heal as her free skill. I chose Talk and Know from the Learning Table. Her class is Expert, giving her an extra focus. The foci I've chosen for her are: Healer (conceding her an extra Heal), and Connected (conceding her Connect). The extra free skill she gains from the final touches is Notice. As she doesn't have any Constitution modifier, I'll roll her hit points in this post as well.
The character has these given skills:
- Heal - 1
- Talk - 0
- Know - 0
- Connect - 0
- Notice - 0
Rolls
Hit points - (1d6)
(3) = 3
- I'd introduce her, but as we've learned, she has a lot of charisma, so I'll let her do the talk :p (ps.: I too have used AI to generate my character's image, not an illustrator over here!!)

"Hello, everyone! Some call me Dr. Nadir, but I'd rather be called Maya. I used to mend bodies and desperate minds through what I learned during my missionary days. A missionary, yes, odd, I know, but not from any church you'd recognize. Mine was proud of the gospel of alchemy, physics, and green. You'd be surprised to see how many nations found themselves lost, with scarce technology and struggling to survive the plagues and the wounds of battle - both physical and mental. So yes, I used to use my ability to deal with people and my somewhat diplomatic personality as my most potent tonic, getting to know many nations and survivors, and most importantly, how to heal them with whatever I'm able to encounter around me. Unorthodox perhaps, but as far as starlight might touch, I'd be willing to wear my doctor's coat and travel. There's no space flu strong enough to scare me out there, I'll help those in need no matter what."
OOC:
- By the way, I feel like Maya could've met Nesta when she discovered the illegal activities she found out. She may have lost her arm there, as punishment, and Maya helped her through her recovery and helped her create her prosthetic arm, maybe?
"What do you mean I have to roll for my status? Is that some kind of food? I fell hungry now... I didn't have to eat after I punched down 4 dudes who were trying to destroy that nice restaurant. What was it called again? "Grossier"? I don't recall. They even got me a snack as thanks for helping them."
Status:

- Dexterity = 11 (0)
- Constitution = 12 (0)
- Intelligence = 7 (-1)
- Wisdom = 9 (0)

As for my class, I'll choose Warrior, and if I understood it correctly I get a free level in a combat-related focus associated with my background, as well as some other two abilities that I'll live in the spoiler block below, for future help. So for my free combat-related focus I have chosen Unarmed Combatant, this gives me a free bonus skill in Punch, the details are in the spoiler block below.
For my foci, I choose Die Hard, this gimme 2 health points per level, since I rolled so poorly.
For my PC's outised interests/hobby I'll choose Notice, 'cause he's an explorer who likes to be free and travel to meet new places and people.
- You gain two extra maximum hit points at each character level.

Adeon Laux (he/him)

Adeon Laux was born into a simple slave world called 'Hexonon-B12'. He was taken from his family to be part of an experiment by the company that was enslaving the planet, 'Conocorp'.
Conocorp was looking to create super humans, 10 times stronger, faster and more resistant than normal beings. Because of this, part of Adeon's organs and muscles were replaced with mechanical parts, and he was put to tests for decades.
Adeon with bare hands can break rocks, lift things 10 times heavier than him, and has very sharp reflexes.
After completing 20 years, and extracting all the planet's natural resources, Conocorp recognized the experiment as a failure nd abandoned the entire population to die on a scarce planet.
As for Adeon and the other experiments? Their mechanical hearts would be turned off forever and thrown into space, but with the help of others, Adeon was the only one to escape, swearing revenge for everyone on his home planet. Now he wanders the world seeking knowledge and help on how to destroy Conocorp.

Technology Levels (TL) describe the basic technological infrastructure of a world or nation. A tech level of 0 is equivalent to a Neolithic society, one capable of only the most primitive technological achievements, while TL3 represents the Earth at the end of the 21st century. Most modern post-Silence worlds (the setting were we will play our game) are TL4, capable of building spike drive starcraft, energy weapons, non-sapient expert systems, and other high-tech devices beyond the capacity of 21st-century Earth. Some armor in this tech level (ie. Power armor) is immune to primitive weapons and unarmed strikes from most people. Not from you. Your hands are lethal. ;) For more details about the armor, see page 68 of the PDF.
A character may have a number of Stowed items equal to their full Strength score. Stowed items are carried in backpacks, in carefully-balanced leg or arm pockets, or otherwise packed away where they will least encumber the character. If a character needs to get out a Stowed item in a hurry, they must use their Main Action to dig it out of their pack or pockets. As such, they can't attack, use a skill, etc during that round. More details on Encumberance are in page 65 of the PDF.

Raw strength and street knowledge, this is what a former thug known by "Rogue" is made of, her gaze holds the sharp edge of one intimately acquainted with the darker facets of the worlds she had seen and she doesn't try to hide it. Carrying the weight of a name echoing through clandestine corners, that became a symbol, a reminder, of the streets she emerged from and the survival skills she learned as a result of her former life.
Now navigating uncharted territories, her thug legacy serves as both shield and sword shaping her in this unfolding adventure.
Unfortunatelly you can't change the equipment by selling part of it. So you can either use a full package (as is) or roll 2d6 here and get that value times 100 credits, and buy whatever gear you want to. =)
1- The to hit attack in weapons would be the 2d6 + modifier that fits (str/dex) + (level with the weapon). In my case, where i do not have a level in shooting and have a -1 in shooting that means that my to hit roll would be a 2d6-3? as per the rules if i do not have a 0 level i get a -2 penalty?
2- Just a quality of life thing, if there's a way to add more rows to the itens part of the sheet, i did not manage to fit all my starting itens, and i plan to be a loot goblin
3- Is there anywhere in the book that gives a correlation between skill tests and what applicable modifier i should use or do we go on a case by case basis? if so, what should i put in the roll in the sheet? just the dice? the dice + skill level?
OOC:
- Updates! I forgot to put Maya's equipment package here. I went with 'medic', which means Maya is extremely poor (25 credits, help your girl out, guys), but at least she has some stuff to heal everyone. lmao. I'll be creating my character sheet as well :)
Secure Clothing (AC 13)
4 Lazarus patches
2 doses of Lift
Medkit

adds their attack bonus, their applicable skill level (or -2 if you don't have that skill) and the attribute modifier most relevant to the weapon. Before you changed, your shooting was, in the same order as above, 1d20 +0 -2 -1 = 1d20-3
2. Added to the template. But as you probably already created one, we will have to change your source code. After you submit your sheet I can edit, as well.
3. Case by case. You can either put the most common attribute in the sheet just to facilitate rolling (ex: write Dex/Pilot as your skill, adding all the modifiers) or put just the skill (ex: Pilot) and you put the dice and level but add the attribute modifier during the game, before you post. It will be easier to see how the sheet integrates with the dice once you have submitted.
4. OK! Shoot it is.
p.s.: i now have a 2d6-1 inseaddof 2d6-3 on shooting, so no need to hit the deck as soon as i grab the handle guys =)

Also, sci-fi heal is usually Intelligence (reasoning, technical skills, general education) or Dexterity (surgery) not Wisdom, ok? See page 57 of the PDF for more details.
I've updated the skill in your sheet.
If you didn't know that and wanna swap your Wis for Int, you can still backtrack your character generation and do so.

Otherwise, makes sense. Maya also has Connected as a focus, so she knows a lot of people.
Trust me, working for a megacorp is not what you want.
It is closer to indentured service than regular work. Your salary stays with the company, to pay for your food, rent, etc as... There are no other companies to buy food from in Satton V. To buy housing. To give you a salary. They charge whatever they want.
There are basically only individual freelancers and the megacorps. They are above the law. The government is just for show. The only thing that a megacorp is afraid of is another megacorp. The "employees" are just resources.
Spoiler alert: The reward for this job, that Lyra will explain in her next message, if you wanna do it, is a starship for the group. She will tell you after your first message.

Phantom's powers manifested early, a flickering ability that he first discovered as a child when he accidentally teleported out of a dangerous street fight. Over the years, he honed his skills, learning to control his teleportation with precision. He quickly realized that his gift could be a ticket out of the slums. Phantom turned to a life of crime, not out of malice, but as a means to an end. He became a ghost in the machine, a master of infiltration who could bypass any security system by simply vanishing and reappearing wherever he desired. His reputation grew, and soon he was a sought-after operative in the criminal underworld, specializing in the most impossible heists – stealing artifacts from the most secure safes in the galaxy.
However, Phantom's life took a turn when he was hired for a job that was different from any other. A mysterious client offered him a fortune to infiltrate a top-secret research facility on the remote planet of Eridani III. The mission was to steal data that held the key to an ancient, forgotten technology. But what Phantom found there was more than just data; it was a revelation about his own origins and the true nature of his powers. The facility held records of clandestine experiments on psychic individuals, experiments that hinted at a connection to Phantom's own abilities.
Haunted by the revelations and aware of the growing interest in his powers from both criminal overlords and galactic authorities, Phantom began to question his path. He realized that his abilities could be used for more than just personal gain. As he delved deeper into the mysteries of his own past, Phantom started to use his skills to uncover and expose the dark secrets of the galaxy's most powerful entities. His journey transformed him from a mere thief into a guardian of hidden truths, a role that would make him more enemies but also give his life a purpose beyond the shadows.
