Character generation

I have to approve before you can see it here in the game. It's incomplete but I approved anyway, so we can work in it together. Please fix the skills/tables and try to roll again ;)

Yes, please put the dice numbers and rolls, I didn't understand how that part works. And how do I roll for those skills?

To roll the dice, you can follow the instructions here. But as you now have an integrated character sheet, there is a shortcut... Just click on the "Adeon Laux" button that appears to you underneath the "Add new roll" section then on the "2d6" button in your skills table or 1d20+3 in the weapons. It will automatically create and fill a new roll entry, just as if you typed everything manually. You can then review and/or edit it.

When you confirm by clicking in the "Post" button, the roll will be at the bottom, like so:

Also, sci-fi heal is usually Intelligence (reasoning, technical skills, general education) or Dexterity (surgery) not Wisdom, ok? See page 57 of the PDF for more details.

If you didn't know that and wanna swap your Wis for Int, you can still backtrack your character generation and do so.

Hey everyone, i'm having a hard time coming up with a backstory to how i met all of the group, i have a idea of how i met Maya because of the sugestion @ligera gave on her description, do you guys think it would be ok for me to describe me metting her, and everyone else saying how they got into the crew one by one? or should we think of a complete story together?

For my character would make sense if you guys were already a crew, and I joined last ou later. Because he just got out of his dead planet (RIP) and is looking for people who could help him or know anything about the universe, because he doesn't know sh*t.

My character is one of the easiest to connect to everyone, I guess. Maya has traveled a lot, is somewhat diplomatic, and is also a healer. I feel like Maya could've met Nesta when she needed help with the arm situation. She could've helped @xoroede's Rogue get through some traumas when she was a thug. @swehtam's character probably met us a few moments before that first session scene, he might've overheard us talking at the table and got closer to get information about Conocorp, since it's a bar, I feel like the intergalactic alcohol might've facilitated the introduction, and the "getting-along-ness" of it all. Ariel (@tuinho2012's character) is perhaps a friend of Nesta? They're both kinda nerdy, he's a pilot, she's a hacker, and she could've done some upgrades to his old spaceship back in the day. Tell me your opinions, everyone :))

A starship costs hundreds of thousands or even millions of credits, as we can see in the rulebook (PDF), so Ariel could not afford his own starcraft (yet). His old spaceship that you mentioned above must have been from a previous employer or from the flight academy.

Otherwise, makes sense. Maya also has Connected as a focus, so she knows a lot of people.

I think is a great idea, i'm kinda done to make the first post. The idea could be that Ariel passed by there for some patching up after a flight that went wrong, or that @ligera went to answer a distress beacon in the ship they were working at.

i agree, i mean, i could actualy meet every one, during missions on my current job or maybe during an intern in academy and etc i am a pilot i could've gone anywhere, you just have to accept the ride of a likable, hot young guy quite boring and talkative to meet me.

You are lucky to be a freelancing pilot. You probably work with the rest of the group in odd jobs and adventures to pay the bills.

Trust me, working for a megacorp is not what you want.

It is closer to indentured service than regular work. Your salary stays with the company, to pay for your food, rent, etc as... There are no other companies to buy food from in Satton V. To buy housing. To give you a salary. They charge whatever they want.

There are basically only individual freelancers and the megacorps. They are above the law. The government is just for show. The only thing that a megacorp is afraid of is another megacorp. The "employees" are just resources.
You don't have a ship. It's not in your starting package equipment and its expensive as hell. You usually pilot the ship of whoever hired you for a job.

Spoiler alert: The reward for this job, that Lyra will explain in her next message, if you wanna do it, is a starship for the group. She will tell you after your first message.
