Maybe a book on photography in Science Fact?

Love it! What a fun chapter.

We can start thinking about which chapter we want to play next. We still have several frantic and eerie early chapters available, plus one pensive chapter. I’m partial to "A Birthday for Gertrude" next, but I’m down for whichever one everybody wants to do. :)

A little celebration sounds fun after all this time in the stacks.

Heh, alright, I've created the thread for that chapter and locked it until we officially finish the current chapter and everybody has picked the character(s) they want to play for the next one.

It's a party chapter, so the more characters, the merrier! :)

I do want to keep Amelie’s transformation moving. The other? Well, after reading a book about flight, Wren Snow might be a good +1 for Amelie. (More accurately, the maid-bot is geeking out and mentions the party for Gertrude while talking to Wren, so it would be awkward NOT to invite them.)

Would Merv have enough advances to complete his journey and transform to Mel for the party?

By my count, Merv got 4 tokens in this chapter. He needs 5 to complete his Journey and transform, but I'll give him a bonus token so he can change for the party. You can write up a bit about his transformation at the end of The Remodeled Library chapter if you'd like!

So the final count for Leftovers is: Amelie: 5 tokens, Edmund: 2 tokens, Gertrude: 1 token, Merv: 5* tokens, Rag-and-Bones: 4 tokens, Yazeba: 5 tokens.

Edmund, Gertrude, Merv, and Rag-and-Bones can apply their Leftovers to their Journey's tracks. Amelie and Yazeba don't have tracks on their Journeys, so we will apply them on the Assorted Tracks. 9 of those will allow us to unlock Alex Dullaghan, the last of the 3 Guests who can be unlocked in this manner. I'll apply the last one towards getting more Mementos. :)

I shall bring The Moon Prince and Robin Combustion to the party.

I'll play Gertrude herself, as well as Monday, in order to set up a future chapter featuring the fairy. And I'll cameo as several other guests and residents who may just have a few lines here and there.

Jdoublep may still choose their characters, but I'll go ahead and open up the gameplay thread for posting now. Since I'm playing Gertrude, you can't really keep the room where the party is happening a secret from me! So just go ahead and decide on that, and when Gertrude has to guess the room, I'll just roll randomly to see which room she guesses. :)
