@Dmbrainiac , I finally submitted Gertude! I also want to add the bingo/whoopsie text to the character, but I submitted with just a pic for now.

Here are the bingos and whoopsies I kept.

That's fine. I think I covered different ones on the Google doc cause it was easier to copy and paste that way, but I'll manually adjust them tomorrow morning. :D

All good. Btw, though, you're supposed to consult your chaos coins to skip to the front of the line and another to order, so Heartless Gert has 2 coins now. :)

Oh, I thought we started off broke. This is what I get for skimming carelessly at work.

Well you'd have 0 at first so you could automatically skip the line, then you would have had to flip one coin to order by using the words on the menu. But I'll let it slide this time. :)

I realized, after posting, that I was torn between "you’re welcome" and "you mispronounced ‘thank you.’" I wasn’t in a position to edit, and now that I am, I’m happy with the error and will leave it.

I had no idea how I would play Heartless Gert until I started, and she simply does not give a ****. She’s uninhibited, not really out to be mean, but without a heart nothing stops her. And upon being insulted by Yazeba, it occurred to me that Gertrude is immune to meanness.

I love it! I think it is an interesting turn for Getrude and is an amusing contrast to Yazeba's heartlessness.

So I am reading it right that Moon Prince has to make a chaos coin flip for each dollar spent to tick the shift track? Cause that's gonna take forever unless we start heaping coins upon him.

No, he can just spend his dollars one for one to mark the track without having to flip coins.

I was considering not spending all of them, but it seems like converting them all to the shift track is the better option. The loose ends tracks are just flavor stuff, right?

You can get some Mementos from a few of them, but they are mostly just for flavor, yes, now that we've unlocked all the Guests from them.

We'll be wrapping up this chapter soon. Assuming MP keeps the job afterwards, we'll get a Circle Memento for the B&B. That leaves the same chapters as last time available for unlocking. We're still on track to play "Let's Start a Band" next unless anybody would prefer a different chapter.

I'll upload the info for that chapter and lock it for now so you can begin reading through and deciding who you want to play. We'll need somebody to play Sal and somebody to play Amelie.

I would like to play Melly as she tries to figure out this fun business.

I think I will play Hey Kid for this chapter.

Alright, then I shall play Sal along with Ichor! The thread's open for posting. I'll post for my characters a little later.

Housekeeping time. We get a Circle Memento (Coffee Cup) for finishing the chapter.

Gertrude ends the chapter with 2 Chaos Coins and 1 completed order. That's three marks on her Heartache track. Easy!

Moon Prince ends the chapter with 2 Chaos Coins and a surplus of $5, so 7 tokens. We can say they pushed on through taxing activities a couple of times during this Chapter, so let's cross off 2 planets.

Yazeba ends the chapter with 4 Chaos Coins and 2 completed orders. She was mean to Gertrude and Moon Prince, so we'll mark those off on her journey. The next chapter she is in, she will have to lash out at everybody, then we can move her to the next phase of her journey.

Between MP and Yazeba, that's 13 tokens for assorted tracks. I went ahead and filled the repeatable track for a Square Memento (Brand New Book) to give us more unlocking potential.

The Gaggle of Guests ends with 2 Chaos Coins and 6 completed orders, so 8 tokens to split among them. If we want to maximize our Mementos, we could use those to complete both Mr. Boggs' journey and Mel Larkin's journey, with one left over. Mr. Boggs would leave the B&B and give us his Briefcase (Circle Memento) and Mel would change back into Merv and we'd get a Book (Square Memento). Other options for applying the leftovers include furthering Viv along her journey or giving the Ptisilith more tokens to draw its runes. Let me know what you all want to in that regard! :)
